And I am pointing out that that particular myth is a crock of shit.

It's no myth, not in Australia anyway.

A 5 minute troll through Union's version of LU and it's obvious that the majority of Australian Union fans believe that they'are better than their counterparts from other codes.

One quality post for every day of the year lol

Ea is right -a quick drive through the welthiest suburbs in Sydney, or a brows through the most expensive private schools websites shows Union extremism at it's maximum. Union's strongold is in the eastern suburbs (You reckon the Roosters area is so small that it cannot sustain a junior comp, but it does have 2 senior Union teams in the Schute Shield), the peninsular and northern suburbs. In the areas of the Roosters (including the Newtown feeder), Many, Norths and Balmain are Randwick, Easts, Gordon, Warringah, Manly, Eastwood, Northern Suburbs, West Harbour and Sydney University. The rest of the city is covered by three Union clubs.

Union's private school old boys network is alive and well too.

And the snobbery is unmoveable. At uni the Union oval was considered sacred ground sand to walk across it was akin to dropping a nugget on a soldier's grave at Lone Pine. Wankers.

Fact is the large majority of union players play for local clubs. Juniors and Seniors.
