Lol

I’m convinced you’ve never played the game in your life

You aim for contact with your shoulder correct..?now try doing that without tilting your head forward. You cant

If you think that’s a normal tackling technique you are kidding, his head is in the others guys mouth and yet his arms are no where near the ball carrier.

And seriously guys hit with the shoulder with their face up all the time what are you on about, your standard shoulder charge the head stays up.

1 out of 4000 of Napa’s tackles have hit an opponent in the head with his own, his technique can’t be that bad. Time to move on.

Cool. But that wasn’t what we were debating

IBM said you’re meant to keep your head upright whilst making a driving tackle. You can’t

Yet the simpletons on this forum can’t undersfand its a contact sport. Go f**king play netball ya skirts lol

Oh you’re so tuff!! Big man likes to watch other blokes headbutt each other.

It’s a contact sport with high tackle and dangerous contact rules, this fits both you simpleton. Napa has a duty of care not to make high or dangerous contact with Sims head while making a tackle, he got that very wrong.

You’re weird

That’s...once again not what I said lol. I’ve already said it warrants a penalty for the accidental high contact. But that’s where it ends.

Such a shame the world has changed so much, I can guarantee that half of the media and the nrl and supporters loved the controversial incidents that happened over the weekend, but have to say the right things to keep the PC happy.

Now it’s not good to see 1 injury due to a tackle gone wrong or constant head clashes, but players can cop a knee, hip, elbow to the head in legitimate tackles.

The game will never be completely “safe” to play, but the more we overreact to collisions, the more likely the game will become a shadow of itself.

Then why would you equate those taking exception to Napa's tackling technique with "skirts" who don't like contact sport?

Because what is the evidence that his technique is that bad other than a 1 in a few thousand tackle that was also aided by the ball carrier?

Well how come nobody has told Napa to change his tackle technique until this recent event

I assume since it’s so dangerous he must’ve taken off atleast 10 heads by now in his career...oh wait

Just wrap them in countless inches of padding and tell them to don on a helmet.

Sure.

And turn NRL into that faux contact sport......NFL.

I like Napas tackling technique.

Up here with Marty Lang's running style. 50/50 if he was going to kill himself, or the defenders.

Brilliant.

Now, why the f**k no replays or funny memes of Napas tackle on YouTube. Very keen to relive it.

I am suggesting this. As the rule is written, it is the tacklers responsibility not to come into contact with the head or neck of an opposing player. 'Accidents' have no place in the rules. If you come into contact with the head or neck, you've done so either intentionally, recklessly, or carelessly (most would be carelessness).

In light of the changes in attitudes to player safety, it would make sense that this change should be made to encourage additional emphasis on reducing contact with the head of players.
How long has the rule been in place and how many times has someone been penalised for a headclash that has not been intentional.

Why does someone have to tell him that smashing his head into someone in a tackle can result in a broken jaw?
