it would be a better broken record if you got the song right bird wanted to go and flew the coup.

Didn't Bird want to go because he was told he wasn't going to play 1st grade? At the time we had the old box biter,Nielson playing in the centres!f**kn great decision.

Nathan Green hasn't shown shit in his entire career. He and farrell are dead wood that will be set adrift at the end of their contracts, if not before.

Cutting Green is as good as making a marquee signing IMO.

Like Farrell or Beale:shock:? At least Green is probably on a minimum wage. I bet the Dragons are still paying Beale more than Green is on.

I disagree, I believe that he has shown excessive amounts of shit.
I don't doubt that he gives 100% effort but everyone on this forum would also give 100% given the opportunity and most would likely come up short on being NRL spec.

That's easy Coast. Farrell by the length of the main straight at Royal Randwick.

As far as I can see and hope, Farrell is the last of the 'dead wood'. I hope I'm wrong but if they plan to play Mann in the centres, I think we may have another coming in. If he is meant to be a utility with an eye to replacing Benji or Widdop (I certainly hope it isn't Benji) the following year, he may prove valuable.

I didn't think Bird was going to get a start in 1st grade before he signed for the sharks unless there was a lot of injuries. No one could predict how much game time and how good Bird was going to be, sure the talent was there but it's a big leap from 20's to 1st grade... I'm happy for him.

The Sharks would've paid him more then what the Dragons were able to offer as well as playing time, he wouldn't get a start over Widdop and Benji.

We've lost plenty of other good players over the years

Dragons offer was more money.

Mann showed more talent in U20s, QLD Cup and First grade than Farrell and Green could have dreamed of.
