Green makes Prior look like a star.

All I'm swaying is that I would like him to be given a chance in the backrow. From what I have seen I doubt he will make it but I don't discount the possibility either.

But why? Even if he does become a semi-servicable, NSW Cup level backrower, he is taking up a position in our squad that could belong to e genuine depth option. What's the point of keeping him on just to see, when it's become bleedingly obvious that he isnt capable at first grade level. COuldnt give a f**k if he's a local junior, let him play footy on a full-time Cutters contract and keep him away from the Dragons.

That should apply across the board.

I understand we need to maintain depth in our squad, but what's the point of keeping players on our books if our coaches won't play them when needed?

Nabuli and Hutchison were both healthy and available and yet our coaches don't play them. Now I'm making a big assumption that our coaches actually have a clue, but I'm guessing that from what they've seen from these 2 is that they obviously can't cut it in first grade. Why else would you play a back up prop and a reggies back rower out in your back line in such a crucial game? Hunt, Milford, Boyd and co must have been laughing while they were scoring those all tries.

Can someone please just fix our roster so we have viable back ups when needed?

Perhaps we should ask the Cowboys how to manage a roster. Their back up halves did a pretty good job against our million dollar pair. Or perhaps ask the Sharks nicely if they would consider asking their starting 5/8 to come back...we could have used him on Friday night.

Our pathetic inability to manage the salary cap dictated a lot of the recruiting...

Our pathetic inability had nothing to f**kn do with starting a bench forward at halfback while you have a Junior Kangaroo/20's SOO MoM half sitting on the bench till the last f**kn 25 f**kn minutes!!!!I think you will find that lays fair & square with the f**kn coach!!

Didn't Green debut on the wing? Pretty sure he came up as a centre/winger and only recently moved into the pack.

He can put on a few kgs and become a solid NSW Cup player but that's it. Can you honestly tell me from what you've seen of him that he will one day develop into an NRL quality player? Green has honestly shown nothing and as I stated previously, he actually looks lost and confused out there.

Interesting how you can readily identify deficiencies in some circumstances, yet when it comes to super coach it's like pulling hen's teeth, with your nonsensical demands for evidence, links and statistics.

He certainly looks lost and out of his depth. Positional play is terrible. I would go as far to say that he is not up to NRL standard.

LOL yeah never let facts get in the way of a good argument.

Well it depends what threshold of proof you require. When it comes to Mary, your standards are higher than that of a criminal court.

But I wouldn't expect you to understand.

Green is trying his very best, if that is not good enough, well the blame is with the selectors, give the bloke credit please.

I don't blame Green...he's not a winger.

Precisely this, it was a mistake from Mary I think he will admit that.. Green is a potential 2nd rower for us in a few years (and dirt cheap), his advantage over some other 2nd rowers is he is an excellent utility able to play Centre or Wing to cover injury (he handled this job well last time he was required including taking a bomb or 2, but a specialist winger try is a huge ask).

As for our backline, unfortunately it keeps shuffling and the centres/wingers have lost their combinations and confidence.. hopefully Mary can settle on his combinations and we can avoid more changes (obviously no Flo is a massive loss).

I think Farrell needs to come back in with either him or P Mata to play centre or wing. Probably use Hunt or Glymin on other wing until Flo returns.
