saying he has been sh!t for the last 5 years is a strong word to use. I would save sh!t for someone who had hands like feet, missed tackles and constantly gave away penalties and did bugger all in defence. In terms of having a decent paycheck and being sh!t by those standards then carl webb on his last contract for us stands out as the best example, john sutton for 5(c)uff$ and if you wanted to use the Eels then Justin Poore.

Compare those to Hindy then there is a massive difference, Hindy doesn;t pay himself, but whateva he has gotten he has done everything he can to earn it.

He's one of only 3 NRL players to have had a Cleo centrefold, something Slater will never have besides crappy car ads.

Melbourne Storm - 1999 premiers only.

Hindy currently has good company in terms of champions with no premierships. Gallen, Slater, Cronk, Smith etc

You also left out JT. Difference being out of the 6 players mentioned only 3 of them will win a comp before they retire, Slater, Cronk and Smith ;-)

As for Hindy he's been a great contributor for my Supercoach team for the last few years and will be in there again in 2012 so lets hope he can contribute once more in his final dig and justify his place in my side.

Surely DoggiesBro has mentioned it enough times for you to know that the Bulldogs won in 2004.

Love all the Hindmarsh haters coming out of the woodwork, it really is classic tall poppy syndrome.

He's not the number one forward in the game, but he's far from the highest paid either. He still does his job and does it well.

Over 300 games and counting for one club, 23 Tests and 17 Origins (and was a big part of some NSW teams that actually won). Not to mention a great ambassador for the game and one of it's most popular players for the past 10 years.

Oh but that's right, some Canberra fans hate him because he always got picked over Alan Tongue (lol)

I wonder if he will go back to the family farm in Robertson. Ian is there now. The Hindmarshs own huge tracts of land down there.
