I know this is a bit late but...

Great defence by 1st team All-NBA defence talent, AK47. Kobe scorched him in the 3rd. I know it wasn't just AK. The whole team, including the ball boys, tried to stop him. What was it?? 9 from 9 from all over the shop??

52

Then again. That is pretty low for Kobe...

11-5. CARN THE LAKERS!!!

That's impressive.

How bout Mount Mutombo?? He's been averaging about 54 rebounds a game since Yao's injury and just passed KAJ for 2nd place in all time blocks...

Who want's to sex Mutombo?

NBA Rumors: Sun, Jan. 21

The InsideHoops message board is home to the most hardcore fans on the planet. Dive in , take 30 seconds to register and post your opinions and/or read what everyone else says about the latest news and NBA rumors." InsideHoops Basketball Forums

"New Jersey Nets forward Richard Jefferson will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right ankle on Monday, January 22, 2007, Nets President Rod Thorn announced today. Further details will be released following completion of the surgery." InsideHoops.com

GASOL

"Earlier this season, I revealed Boston had offered Memphis its choice of any combination of Celtics for Pau Gasol. Michael Heisley, a lame-duck owner at the time whose pending sale of the team recently ruptured, responded by anointing the franchise forward "untouchable." Well, guess what, Heisley's uncompromising stance has been rewritten on dust in the wind." New York Post

"Sources throughout the NBA disclose the 7-foot Gasol, an elite post-up performer, as tough a cover as there is within 15 feet of the rim, suddenly is eminently obtainable. Distressed at management's rebuilding-with-adolescence mood, the 271/2-year-old has asked to be traded to a playoff-positioned ensemble that, of course, would be instantly transformed into a legit title contender." New York Post

"I put this out there with utter certainty. Infallible informers report Grizzlies president Jerry West has explored prospective trade arrangements with at least three teams regarding Gasol. In order to protect my sources, the only one I'm willing to identify for the time being is the Bulls." New York Post

"The Bulls also own what Memphis wants, namely Luol Deng ($2.6 million) and Ben Gordon ($3.86M). In order to satisfy salary/transaction specs, Chicago would have to include P.J. Brown ($8.56M). I'm told the Grizzlies are prepared to add Hakim Warrick ($1.2M) to a pot that so far does not include draft picks; Gasol currently is on the books for $12.8M and is owed $63M over the next four seasons." New York Post

"Giving up Gordon and Deng would be very difficult," a Bulls insider insisted. "John will never go there." New York Post

"The NBA trade deadline is a month away, but the Bulls don't appear any closer to landing the difference-making inside scorer that could elevate them to elite status than they were at the start of the season. A couple of months ago, the big dream had the Minnesota Timberwolves tanking and deciding to trade superstar Kevin Garnett. It seemed to be a plausible scenario. The Timberwolves failed to qualify for the playoffs the last two seasons, and their prospects didn't appear to be too promising this season." Chicago Sun-Times

"Memphis Grizzlies management has said Pau Gasol isn't on the market. Even if he was, I doubt I would be willing to give up two members of the Bulls' young core for the cottony-soft power forward/center." Chicago Sun-Times

Just got back from Staples where the Lakers went down to the Kings. Lakers dead set had nothing! you get a different perspective when your at a game and Odom is lazy as hell when Kobe is on the floor. He was very good when on his own but still IMO very lazy.

Lamar Odom has a shoulder injury.

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) - Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom was diagnosed Saturday with a left shoulder injury.

Odom, who was injured Friday night against Sacramento, underwent an MRI exam Saturday that revealed a torn labrum, team spokesman John Black said. He didn't travel to Phoenix for a game on Sunday and will see a doctor Monday.
Odom got hurt when he was fouled by Sacramento's Brad Miller with 2:47 remaining of a 116-108 loss. Odom finished with 26 points, 13 rebounds and six assists.

Black said the team would not speculate on whether Odom could be sidelined indefinitely.

It was the second major injury of the season for Odom, who missed 1 1/2 months because of a sprained right ankle before returning Jan. 27.

Two years ago, Odom sustained the same left shoulder injury, underwent surgery and missed the final two months of the season.

Luke Walton is set to see a specialist Monday about his sprained right ankle. He has missed 16 games.

Kwame Brown returned Friday night after missing 27 games because of a severely sprained right ankle.

Spurs held off a Clippers side tonight. They were always in control and when the Clips started to get back into the game they did enough every time to keep a 10 point buffer. Seeing them in person you can see how top shelf they are!

Spurs on a 10 game winning streak. They need to still work hard and hold off the Jazz and the rockest with Yao back.

Spurs 99-94 Trailblazers a clutch 3 from Finley and a 2 from Ginobili seasled the game.
