Rose signs with the Suns for this season. His defensive (in)ability won't matter because the Suns don't care much for defence, another player to come off the bench for 10 minutes and fire away, also provides another play-maker to back up Nash when he has a spell.

What else?? How bout LAKERS 3-0

How about 3-0?

Did the Lakers lose today? ... Yes.

Haha... sorry just joking.

At the moment Utah's frontcourt is one of the best in the league. And with the added depth at the guard positions we are heading for a big season.

These are the teams in the East that have a chance to beat Miami that have a chance on several conditions.

Chicago if Ben Gordon goes off along with Kirk Hinrich.
Indiana if that team somehow stays healthy and even then it is a small chance.
Detroit maybe they can because their team is a bit more offensive minded however you lose the best defender in the league. So the chances are small.

Cleveland I doubt it because LeBron James and Larry Hughes are going to need the rest of the team to play better when it is required.
LeBron cannot disappear like LeBron did against Detroit in the Eastern Conference Semi + - Finals Game 7 2005.

These are the teams in the West that have a chance to beat Miami that have a chance on several conditions.

San Antonio if the bench stays healthy. Duncan at 50% healthy like last year Duncan still went off against Dallas.
Dallas if they somehow come together as a team with all the new players there and Dirk Nowitski becomes a better defender.
Phoenix if Nash plays like he usually does and Amare gets healthy knees and play like he did or similar to against San Antonio Spurs in the Western Confernce Finals a few years ago.

Los Angeles Clippers if Sam Cassell stays healthy and Elton Brand plays like he has been for years.

Now the question is how do you get over the Dwayne Wade Factor? Dwayne Wade is the difference.

Hawks 3-1, first time better than .500 in 3 years I think. Best start in 3 or 4 years as well. Leading the South East division. Unbelievable. Still, would rather we tanked this year and had a chance at drafting Greg Oden. Then try and snare Billups as he's off-contract this year. I'm dreaming, I know. Honestly though, a line-up of:

Billups
Johnson
Oden
Smith
M. Williams

Pachulia
Childress
Claxton
S. Williams
Lue

Not quite good enough for a championship, but definitely capable of making the playoffs. And the team would still be the youngest in the league (we're currently more than 3 years younger than the next youngest team, at an average age of 23). Alright I'm babbling now.

I recon New York are gonna get 1st pick. I'm pretty sure they traded that pick to the Bulls. Imagine if the Bulls got Oden...

Yeah New York did trade it to the Bulls. And I thought Billy Knight was a sh*t GM. It would be interesting for the Bulls, because they desperately need a wing who can consistently score. Then again Oden is the next David Robinson.

Hawks - Leading the Eastern Conference Baby!

bulls wouldn't pass on Oden, they'd be stupid to, but then again there's no guarantee that Oden is going to declare after his freshman year

He would've been in this year's draft if it wasn't for the age restriction. Barring a major injury, he'll be in.
