Seems that Miami have given up on Boozer and will look to make a splash in 2010. Like you said, the move is pretty good for both teams. Toronto get rid of a beast of a contract and Miami get a potential (if he stays healthy) good low-post scorer, which still leaves their options open for the Summer of Lebron etc.

Its scary how good kevin Durant is going to be next season

If the guy could bulk up a bit, he would easily be a Top 3 player in the league in 2 to 3 years time. It's amazing how much he's improved from his rookie season. Its criminal he doesn't get more attention in the US media.

Chandler to OKC for Smith & Wilcox. Hornets lose defence but get back two much better offensive players. And any time you can get two good players for one good player, you pull the trigger. Can't understand people writing off Hornets after this trade, their front-court depth was weak, now they can trot out a semi-decent 4 man rotation instead of a semi-decent 3 man rotation? And besides, Chandler has been average this year at best.

Durant's beasting it this year. Such a massive improvement on his rookie season. He's gonna be the best scorer in the NBA in 2 years...

Chandler's being playing like a dog this year, its a trade they had to make.

News that T-Mac is out for the season. I'm getting close to the stage when i'm going to start feeling sorry for him, his contract is really going to turn into a burden for Houston.

How bought this box-score from D12. 45 points (16/23 from the field and 13-18 from the charity stripe), 19 rebounds and 8 blocks. Wow.

I actually disagree. CP3 always makes guys look good, sometimes better than they actually are. The guy made David West look like Karl Malone last year. Imo Chandler will be exposed a bit offensively, although his defensive presence will be invaluable for the Thunder.

I agree thought that the Thunder have some nice talent for the future. A core of Durant, Westbrook, Green, Chandler will be money in 2 to 3 years time.

Another interesting trade in the NBA, with the Kings making a tentative ageement to send John Salmons and Brad Miller to Chicago for Gooden, Nocioni, Michael Ruffin and Cedric Simmons.

Personally i think its a better trade for Chicago, they pick up nice big man (abeit maybe not the big time low-post scorer they were looking for) and a good scorer in Salmons and at the same time are able to dump the last 4 years of Nocioni's $40 million dollar contract.

Trade deadline has been amazing. Can't remember so many trades happening in such a short period of time.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3919268

*Orlando Acquire Alston is a three way deal

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3919012

*Bulls ship Hughes to NY. I like this move alot, allows them to fit in Salmons alot easier to their offense.

*News that the Chandler trade got rescinded . What is this Happy Hour in the NBA.

Trade deadline was one of the worst in history imo...Nothing of importance, no big names, just a bunch of scrubs swapping around...

I've just seen two big calls go against the Lakers at Staples in crunch time of a close game - Kobe gets called for travelling and then Fisher for a charge, when it could've gone the other way. Whatever the result, clearly the Lakers are feeling the pinch financially atm as they mustn't have paid off the refs this week.

Well order has been returned to the universe. Chris Paul just fouled out for being pushed by Kobe Bryant. Mustn't have taken the shove properly. Great call by the ref....

Its sad to see the US economy play such a large part in teams and their trade choices.

Marbury has been bought out by the Knicks. Looks like he's heading to Boston. Huge move by the Cs if it happens, not sure he's what they need but if he behaves could work out ok.
