The offseason is nearly as big as the actual season!

So AD goes to the Lakers, they gave up a fair bit but actually did well to keep Kuzma and now have plenty in the kitty to go get a guard.

I think the Pelicans did well also, they should be an exciting team to watch next year, lob city could be back!

I need to see the stipulations on those picks... I’m hearing that the Pelicans have a number if the Lakers picks and the option of swapping picks for the next 7 years...

According to ESPN:

The future picks going to the Pelicans include a 2021 pick that will go to New Orleans if it is in the top eight in that year's draft -- and will become an unprotected pick in 2022 if it isn't -- sources told ESPN's Tim Bontemps.

In addition, the deal includes a pick swap in 2023, which is unprotected, as well as an unprotected first-round pick in 2024 that the Pelicans will have the right to defer until 2025, sources told Bontemps.

And there’s also a chance that 2024 could be the super draft... unlikely as I think everyone is pegging 2022... but if the players union hold back the repeal of the one and done for a couple of seasons that pick could be REALLY good...
