Anthony going for 42 today on 18/25, hopefully the Lakers find there form against the Thunder

It's a shame, Heat were doing so well in that game but then just hit a wall and couldn't make any shots.

Hoping that Bynum will be fit to start. Can't wait! It's Kobe time.

Lakers win 87-79. Both Kobe and Durant struggled from the field. Kobe has me worried a bit. His terrible FT shooting would indicate that his finger is still giving him problems. Promising news was seeing Bynum back and playing well. Shout out to Westbrook. Carried the Thunder all game.

Spurs go down to the Mavs, they seemed comofortably in control from the 3rd qtr onwards

Good call on KG, he is a cat and deserved to be suspended. On the Lakers it was good to see Drew back, we need him fit if we wanna go back to back, Kobe continued his struggles but i hope he can break out of i soon, anyways good to get the first up win.

Just checked the box-scores for the Orlando game. Jameer Nelson, wow. If he can play anything close to what he was doing last season before getting hurt, Magic will be tough to beat.

Gregg Popovich said:
"I think we've got to have a few more people step up and play worth a damn," Popovich said. "I thought we had a lot of guys that played like dogs."
Richard Jefferson - you have officially been called out. Time to step up and earn that $14m.

Because they shot horribly - at one stage their starters (minus Nash) were something like 4 of 21 I think. For a team that relies on its offence, that just won't get it done. The Blazers are going to be pesky but I still think the Suns will win the series.

I'm kind of glad the Lakers got OKC as opposed to Portland in the first round. Miller and especially Bayless would have given us fits. Plus in recent history, LA have generally struggled in the Rose Garden.

Also bummer with the Okur injury. Utah could have been so dangerous

Dwight is an amazing talent!

There are only 3-4 players in the game that can score 5 points and still get man of the match honours!

9 blocks? Thats just nasty.

Well that was interesting. Utah just beat Denver 114-111. Nice game from D-Will with 33 points and 14 assists (7-14 FG, 16-18 FT).

Series tied 1-1 heading to Utah.

Josh Smith with a 21 point (off 11 shots), 14 rebound, 9 assist, 2 steal, 2 block effort as the Hawks have their way against the Bucks. Further proof that:

a) more offence needs to run through Smith & Horford in general, but especially against an undersized Bucks.

b) Smith is the MIP. Led all PFs in assists, blocks & steals and was in the top 10 in just about every other statistical category (11th in points was his worst output), despite playing same minutes as last year (and less than the 2 years prior). Set career highs in rebounds, assists, steals & FG%. Hawks won 53 games, 6 games more than last year, pretty much as a direct result of his improved play.

How about that Lakers vs OKC game. LA not playing their best atm but are up 2-0 with the series heading to OKC.

Finally, Jefferson steps up. Duncan was unreal in the 4th, Spurs take a game in Dallas, series tied 1-1
