Boston is on the decline. Indiana is on the rise. Pacers are going to win a lot more games overall in the next 5 years than the Celtics.

The '08 celtics were elite. Not the '12 celtics. 3 of their top 4 players are ancient, and unlike the Spurs, their age is actually showing.
Who's talking about the next 5 years turd? This is the '12 playoffs, who gives a f**k what either team is like in 1 years time, let alone 5.
And if you watched as much Basketball as you claimed you wouldn't underrate Roy Hibbert. The guy is an all star and will continue to be for years.
I've watched Roy since Georgetown and sincerely want him to do well, however to insinuate a 7-footer that has never shot over 50% in his pro career will be an All Star for years to come is ridiculous, simply because he was voted in as a reserve during a lockout shortened season when the second and third best centres in the EC were injured. Not to mention he was a four year college player who is now in his fourth year of pro basketball. In other words, I don't see a whole lot of development left in him.

Now please f**k off and leave this forum alone.

I meant as a whole their age is showing. Garnett individually is going awesome but as a whole they are in steep decline.

Pierce and Allen are cooked.

Lakers season is done, only Kobe put up a resistance today and played hard. I know he didnt shoot that well this series and made some mistakes late in games but you can never take away his heart and will. It just wasnt enough.

Its going to be an interesting off season in Laker land, im sure Gasol has played his last game in a Laker uniform and it could be the same for a few others!!!

First thing we gotta do is GET SOME SHOOTERS!!!!

Thunder bench dominated the Lakers bench. West finals should be great, but will prob end up as being Thunder winning 4-1.

Congrats to OKC, just the better team. Although man Games 2 is going to haunt me for a while. Can't really put the blame on any one person. Kobe was good at times, like today, but was really at fault for that pivotal Game 2 loss. Pau's going to get alot of the blame, but fmd Sessions pulled off an epic disappearing act in the playoffs.

I think it's been proven that Pau and Bynum just don't work together. No doubt a part of Pau's poor play is that he's getting older, but he just doesn't look as effective having to play further away from the basket.

I do think the two best teams atm are in the WCF. Spurs and Thunder are both blazing so far. Spurs 8-0 in the playoffs, Thunder 8-1.

I feel as though this has been a problem for a looong time. For whatever reason, the Lakers just can't acquire a good crop of 3 point shooters.

Kobe with 44 points on 33 shots and 0 assists.

Says it all right there IMO

18-33 is pretty good volume shooting..

And the 0 assists didn't really bother me in this game given that no one else really played with much effort.

Kobe definitely deserves blame for his performances at points in this series (Game 2 being the most glaring), but I don't see how Game 5 could be one of them.

In regards to Spurs vs OKC, I think SA will come out on top.

Both the Mavs and the Lakers had their chances to put pressure on OKC in their respective series, but both teams let those chances slip away. I don't think a team playing as well as the Spurs would waste those opportunities.

Speaking of the Spurs who would have thought, at the start of the season, that Boris freaking Diaw would be playing such a significant role on a championship contender . I'd always assumed his season highlight would have been going all Dirk Nowitzki on the Knicks for the Bobcats in the regular season.

If you watched the game there is no way you can say that. He was the only one that was trying his a$$ off and didnt give up at any stage. He did make some passes but they wont finished so wont show up on the stat sheet. He did all he could but just didnt have the help and the other players didnt have the heart.

I'm far from a Kobe fan, there are many many games where he chases points taking inefficient shots instead of passing and being the naturally selfish player he is.

Yesterday was not one of them. His teammates all disappeared, he had no other option than to shoot.

As for today, The MVP brang it again. We killin these fools. Heat will make it to the finals easy, but I reckon both the Thunder and especially the Spurs would be favourites.
