Nice comeback game for Nash although damn D'Antoni really leaned on him hard. 41 mins in your first game back after breaking your leg

MWP was huge as well.

As for Nash, he is nearly 40, you have to wonder if he can stay healthy for a long season plus 20-30 playoff games.

I still don't think they're better than 5th seed in the west.

Kobe was probably frustrated at not getting any calls from the officials. I mean its not like every shot he took was a 3 or a long 2. He was taking shots in the paint, but not getting any calls. Still think he should have adjusted.

As long as Nash's minutes stay in the low 30s I think he'll be alright.

I'd give them a few more weeks of seeing how they play with all their starters healthy before writing them off.
Nash will take some of the workload off Kobe and should be able to find him for some open higher % shots..hopefully won't see too many more poor shooting displays like tonights 41 shots (unless its against the Spurs then shoot away)

Shame the young Warriors couldn't hold on. Great learning curve for them in this game. Have got to become smarter down the stretch.

It still surprises me how often MWP's shots actually go in.

Nash is incredibly durable. Before this year, he had not missed more than 10 games in a single season since 2000. No one takes better care of themselves in league. He will be fine.

Welcome back Dirk...129-91
Eat shit Dallas lol

It is good to see him back though..despise the Mavs but always respected him as a player.

God I love having Nash on this team. Regardless of his defensive issues, he's just such a smart player.

Really enjoyed seeing the ball in his hands down the stretch.

How good are the lakers with Nash. 87 points after 3 quarters. Oh wait...their opponents have scored 98.

Nash and D'Antoni will never be part of a championship team.

Some great games today. Awesome comeback from the Pistons to take it to double OT, shame they just couldn't get there.

Nash played 37 and then 30 mins in his first games back on a back t back and the second was away in Denver at altitude, these are plenty of minutes on his return, he is still smart player but this is desperation by D'Antoni to get wins as the average to make the playoffs is 48.
So with them now below 500 and having played 29 games and with 53 games left they need to go 34-19 for the rest of the season and this has been the easy part of their draw with 27 road games left and With the lakers winning about 1 in three road games and if they keep that up then they end up about 10-17 so will need to then win 24-2 at home. This is obviously ball park but they have been poor on the road for the last season and a half, poor depth and a shooter who shoots first blame others later.

Denver who are in seventh have a lot more home games coming up, Portland in 8th have played 2 games left so while there are plenty of games left they still need results to go their way to keep in touch.

I see a lottery team with no pick, hopefully.

Boy did things fall apart quickly for Avery at the Nets. COTM for October and November. Fired in December

Lakers are a completely different team with Nash running the show. Offensively at least

Fantastic, gutsy win by the Clippers. Down by 19 in the third, come back to win it 116-114 at the death. Our streak now stands at 16.
