Nice win against the Celtics, was close but pulled away in the 4th.

Also Rubio made his season debut today, had 9 assists, 8 pts and 3 steals in 18 minutes.

Timberwolves are doing pretty well to be 12-9 with the injuries they've had. A healthy Love and Rubio and they should definitely make the playoffs.

Not to mention the resurgence of Kirilenko, he's playing so good at the moment defensively AND offensively.

I love watching Rubio, assists are probably my favourite highlight besides the really big dunks.

I must admit, OKC have handled losing Harden a lot better then I thought they would.

Yeah man they are rolling atm. Clear top dog in the West. Durant is playing at a ridiculous level. Imo the front runner for the MVP atm.

God I hope Nash coming back can solve this whole Pau fiasco. At this point I hope the team trades him away for his own sake. He needs to be playing centre, which isn't going to happen on this team. Plus I'm tired of him being used as the whipping boy. It's one thing for Kobe and Phil to do it, but for some reason hearing D'Antoni do it pisses me off.

I agree about KD, mvp frontrunner for sure.

And yeah the Pau sitiuation is no good. Other then Nash fixing this somehow I can't see Pau really fitting with D'antonis system with that squad.

Knicks starters not named Carmelo are a combined 3-17.

And people think these pretenders will come close to the Heat?

No.

The Heat will be in the finals. And this season is all about who is coming out of the west to play us.

Knicks did beat the Heat by 20 points in both games this season.. I wouldn't rule them out just yet.

Lakers fanboys and the media have dramatically overrated the importance of Nashs return.

This isn't the NFL. Even if you're a great playmaker you still have to play defense. They have been bad defensively all season and Nash returning does nothing to fix it because he offers nothing defensively.

The Lakers will keep scoring 100 points a game while every good team (and some not so good) score 110 on them. They'll get the 6th seed and lose in the 1st round.

D'Antoni is not the coach for a contender. He's the coach for a 2nd tier playoff team that only wants to play fun bball. All his previous teams were like that and now the Lakers are too.

Nash as a player has a fatal flaw and D'Antoni as a coach has a fatal flaw.

Nash is playing n this game. First time I've watched the Lakers for a couple weeks...damn they look sloppy
Kobe shooting 7/21 from the field and Howard already has 4 fouls halfway through the 3rd quarter and they've already committed 15 turnovers
Looking like another Lakers loss

Edit: I'll give some credit to the Warriors, they're an entertaining team to watch and have deserved to win this.

Wow...Warriors self destructing in the 4th, lead down to 2
Although Howard and Kobe have 5 fouls each now

overtime. Despite the Warriors best efforts of f**king this up. Kobe takes a bad shot at the buzzer to try to win the game. But because it's Kobe he's immune from criticism even though statistically he's not that fantastic in the clutch.

Now 5 more minutes, Kobe and Dwight with 5 fouls. They could kneecap someone here and not have the call go against them.

Was a good game but the Warriors blew it, should have won.
Kobe 16/41.......41 shots wow, also only got to line once
He did hit a few big ones when it counted though.

And if he shot more efficiently and took less bad shots maybe they wouldn't have been in that position late.

41 Shots. Holy f**king shit. I would love to see Kobe go out injured for 10 games just to see how this Lakers team goes without the stat filler. Got a feeling they'd all be loving it much like the Knicks loved it last season when Melo was out and Lin stepped up.

No way the Lakers can make it to the WCF with Kobe being Kobe

Keep shooting my friend. Kareem is within reach ;-)

Seriously though that was hard to watch. Credit to him for hitting the big shots in OT but the fact remains that the Lakers cut the lead when he sat in the 4th.
