The Thunder traded the wrong guard. I'm not saying this because of just what has happened in the last couple days. Westbrook is the greater talent but IMO Harden is the better player to put next to Durant as your #2 guy.

Gotta say I like this new look Lakers.

This whole Kobe-ball thing is definitely a breath of fresh air .

Lakers still on track to go 0-82.

I'm sorry but Nash just isn't good enough to be a starting PG on a contender. He still has it offensively but he's so bad defending and with so many great PG's in the league you can't let the Chris Pauls and Russell Westbrooks and Rajon Rondos of the NBA be matched up with a turnstile. He's so easy to get past it becomes effectively 4 on 5.

It worked in Phoenix because of their style and they got enough wins to be competive but never looked like going all the way.

Dwight is limited offensively with his free throws, Nash is very limited defensively. This is a great fantasy sports team but it has serious flaws in real life.

Lakers will be fine. People just got carried away with the Bynum, Howard swap. Nash will help them and if they need to they can still trade Gasol. I still think the Hawks take a Smith for Gasol trade that magic was talking about today and I agree that is a good for them.

Lakers rolling pistons as you'd expect or not going on there start.. Kobe 8 assist with min left in the 3rd..

1-3 baby. Party time :alcho:

Can't really take too much from the game, given how bad the Pistons are. Was nice to see facilitating Kobe.

Still out of all the players I enjoy watching Kobe the most.. some of the shots he's pulled off over the years have been so incredible.

How is the new pre-game show for ESPN with Bill Simmons? Anyone have a view on it? Good, bad...same crap?

Haven't really had a chance to watch it. Mainly been watching condensed games. But given the amount of backlash that show got last year, I'd be keen to hear some opinions on it.

How about Gortat! 7 min left to go in the 4th and he has 19 pts, 9 rebounds, 2 assists & 7 BLOCKS.

I think if he gets a couple more assists he would be in rare air of a guy being able to put up a 4-5 combo right?

I know Kirilenko was the last to put up a 5/5 combo of 5 pts, reb, assists, blocks & Steals but damn to even get close to that is a good effort by Gortat.
