In fairness teams normally do these kind of things with relatives of players (i.e. putting them on the payroll), but to use up a roster spot for him :lol:

Regarding Nash retiring, would probably be for the best although I can't imagine him giving up those last two years of his contract.

Not sure what's more impressive. That or the Jazz going 0-7. Their tank form is superb atm. Got an early lead on the pack.

Regarding Pacers, I wonder what happens when Granger comes back? Can't imagine they would disturb the starting lineup so I'd imagine he'd come off the bench. Pacers bench looks so much better than last season with Scola and Watson.

NEW YORK -- With his starting spot gone and playing time slashed, Houston Rockets center Omer Asik has repeated his trade request and the team has informed him they currently do not intend to trade him, sources told ESPN.com.

The issue was revived this week when Rockets coach Kevin McHale decided to take Asik out of the starting lineup after an experiment of playing him and Dwight Howard together yielded only mixed results.

Don't blame Asik, it was a stupid idea trying to play them together, Houston need a 4 who can stretch the floor a bit.

Seriously Dwight is overrated imo though, his post game is going backwards.
