How am I only just learning that the Knicks signed J.R Smith's brother, Chris Smith, to a guaranteed minimum contract at the start of the season :lol:

In fairness teams normally do these kind of things with relatives of players (i.e. putting them on the payroll), but to use up a roster spot for him :lol:

I read a little article on another site that said some of the Knicks coaching staff dont even think he has D-league talent.

Don't blame Asik, it was a stupid idea trying to play them together, Houston need a 4 who can stretch the floor a bit.

Seriously Dwight is overrated imo though, his post game is going backwards.

What I don't get is Dwight's insistence on being a post up player. It's just not his thing. I don't see him suddenly becoming a great post up player this late in his career.

He is however, imo, an awesome pick and roll big. Wish he would be willing to focus on that more, especially with guards like Harden and Lin on his team.

If I was building an NBA team I'd take Vucevic ahead of Dwight every day of the week. The Magic won a three team trade that involved them getting a noname and the other two teams getting Bynum and Howard. You'd be sent to a mental hospital if you thought that at the time.

Bynum is broken, Dwight is an extremely limited player who is only going to be further limited as his athleticism leaves him. Vucevic has the makings of an All-Star level talent for the next 10 years.

Hibbert and Pekovic are also much more complete players.

Dwight is a fraud.

Was surprised to see that the Blazers are 10-2 to the start the year. Have mostly overlooked them so far. Guess it will help them appease Aldridge.

Wow.. Didn't realize blazers were going that well. Cavs fans have Got to be frustrated. No. 1 pick.. 1.3ppg on .135 fg%. I know he's had shoulder problems.. But those numbers are horrible.

They beat the Spurs but they have a really good record against them in Portland

DRose looked pretty good yesterday against the Nuggets, he was getting inside and scoring.. He run out of some gas in the 3rd and 4th, but he looked pretty good in the first half.. Today against the Blazers he's looking good at times.. he's slowly getting back.
