I am glad we have a Pacers fan though. JO needs out of that joint. He deserves better. If I'm Jerry Buss and Mitch Kupchack, I'm doing everything in my power to package Odom/Cook/Radmanovich and whoever else for JO. He's got an option coming up. He will seek a trade if Indy doesn't pick up. Why not make a run @ him now?

You can make a deep playoff run with that team, even in the West.

They already tried. But they not willing to give up Odom or Bynum and the rest of the Lakers team is not too appealing

But if I DID follow the Laker's, I'd be throwing my anger in the direction of team management, NOT @ Kobe Bryant.

For me, it's simple:

...Laker's management promised Kobe they would build a championship team around him immediately.

...JO and J-Kidd are both > than Bynum in the immediate future.

End of logical debate.

IMHO, management f*cked up by not offering Bynum for either Kidd or JO. Personally, I'd pursue JO as hard as I could if I were LA. He'd be such a good fit alongside Kobe! Ugh!

I say trade Kobe for young talent similar to the Bulls offer. Kobe has made it clear in the past that he doesn't want to be in LA. Build around Bynum...

Bynum's efficiency for the minutes he plays is close to, if not, the best in the league...

They made a big mistake in trading Caron Butler for Kwame Brown.

I cant see Kobe being traded though. He has to approve of the trade before it goes down. And hes not going to just get trade to another team with a crap roster. So its hard to trade for Kobe whilst keeping your marquee players.

They only teams with enough depth that I can think of making a Kobe trade would be Bulls, Suns, Knicks, Nuggets, or Cavs but I dont see why any of those teams would want to reconstruct their teams.

Dont get too excited. Durant and Oden are franchise caliber players not sure about Yi yet.
