IF Yi is only just 20 (and I think he is) he'll be better then Durant but Oden is a different matter.

Durant is only 19 and averaging 24 a game to go with 6 rebounds (so far). I reckon Yi is 23 btwNoa Nandruku said:IF Yi is only just 20 (and I think he is) he'll be better then Durant but Oden is a different matter.

Noa Nandruku said:Durants got a liscence to shoot (and he does it very, very well) but I wonder if he'll ever be as good on the defensive side of the ball.
Noa Nandruku said:all the information Ive got from posters from China is that Yi really is 19.
Noa Nandruku said:The sky really is the limit for Yi. He's getting 2 blocks a game on raw talent alone and I doubt Ive seen a prettier jump-shot. Ray Allen at 7ft.
Maybe the fact that Yi is Chinese makes it harder for peole to accept that he's every bit the prospect Durant is, more-so in my opinion.

You can't possibly mean that...
With all due respect to Chinese people (not quite sure why the race card was played there, seeing as people love Yao), there are dozens of NBA/NCAA players who have a nicer shooting stroke than Yi.
Furthermore, 44% doesn't make you a great shooter. Hell, Yao Ming shoots a better FG% than that, as well as a better FT%, more points, more blocks, more rebounds. Though I would personally like to see Yi thrive in the NBA, Kevin Durrant has a lot more upside potential to him right now than Yi does. No offence.

Noa Nandruku said:Lol at Yao a better shooter then Yi, I think Yao would even laugh at that.
El Coconuto said:Ummmmmmm, did I say that Yao was a better shooter or did I say that Yao had a better FG%? :sarcasm:
Noa Nandruku said:Panther Gold said that.
El Coconuto said:Personally, if I'm coaching/paying bills as an owner, I don't care how the shot looks as long as the person is making it. See Kevin Martin Rules 101 for more details.
Stonecutter said::lol: nah, I've never liked the Bucks, especially now that they're giving Charlie V half the minutes he was getting in his rookie year which is killing my fantasy team.
He'd be a great fit in San Antonio should he be put on the trade block.
Noa Nandruku said:Yeah i feel sorry for CV, but he just doesnt play enough defence to warrant a start over YI. I still think he can get his coming off the bench and I would expect him to be traded, probably in the offseason. I could definatley see him winding up in a place like LA, Denver or Philly or even GSW.
