Spurs with a good win over OKC, without Parker they have managed to move up in the west playoff seedings to #6, horror stretch coming now though against LAL, CLE and BOS

Props to Tolliver for trying to contest but damn that was an epic poster.

George Hill's done really well filling in for Parker.

I worry for the Spurs though. Duncan's just not the player he used to be. Seeing Ibaka work him over when TD was trying to get it going in the post was depressing.

Some conference championship odds...

Cavs (6.0 GA) @ 1.55
Lakers (5.5 GA) @ 1.60

With only 10-12 games to go for most teams these bets almsot seen like shoe ins.

Does anyone else agree with me???

I've already for 150 on Cavs @ 2.25 but I thinking about slapping 200 more on @ 1.55.

Basically they would have to finish with a losing record from now onwards and Orlando would have to go perfect... Unlikely

Very, very nice from J Smoove. Wish Rashard would be as committed to boxing out and rebounding as he was to taking contested 3-point shots....

Even though Johnson travelled.....

Smith HAS to win the Most Improved award. Career highs in FG%, rebounds, assists, steals, Hawks on pace for almost 55 wins......there's been a couple players that have stepped up this year but none to the extent of Smith on BOTH ends of the floor.

And, looking at players that have played over 2,000 minutes the last 2 years, he ranks 7th in adjusted +/-, behind Wade, LeBron, Nash, Kobe, Ray Allen & Lamar Odom.

Stats aren't everything, but that's a pretty decent case for MIP....

Doubt Smith gets it when Bogut's having the year he's having...

Nice win by LA over Houston.

I do tend to rip Kobe sometimes for his shot attempts but I really liked the way he played. Deferred to Pau more and the results were good.

How good was the Salmons trade for the Bucks. Can't remember it exactly but Milwaukee's record ever since the trade has been excellent.

Beat the Grizzlies 108-103.

Bogut is certainly up there, but has he really improved that much on past seasons? His numbers are fairly consistent with where he's been previously, he's just getting more touches and isn't turning the ball over as much.

I'm probably biased though.....

Hard to think of many candidates for the MIP really, two months ago maybe Marc Gasol but he's been struggling since new years, I just can't think of too many guys that have really improved - Durant? Certainly more well-rounded this year, Noah maybe, although he's always been good defensively just getting more minutes and still can't score.

Carl Landry imo. I don't think anyone has made a bigger jump. Dude is a legit low-post scorer.

Spurs with a good win over the Celtics with no Tony Parker, I think they are building nicely for playoff basketball...
