The Pacers ball movement was fantastic. The incredible thing was they did all the good work with Hibbert on the bench. Wade was pathetic, Lebron was relegated to a jump shooter(a poor one at that), about the only impressive thing from the heat was big Z.

Spurs beat Orlando 106-97 (11th straight win) with Duncan playing only 28 mins. Ginobili's been excellent so far this season, hopefully he can stay healthy

How good have they been? To think that all three of Parker, Manu & TD will be relatively rested come the playoffs and possibly able to go for 35+ minutes a game at a high level must be giving some teams concern. Only comment is their schedule hasn't been that difficult - but they are winning by 10 a game.

Miami waive Stackhouse & sign Dampier, Haslem might be out for rest of regular season:

Of course signing a dog like Dampier to address rebounding, defence and toughness might not work out the way they want.

Given the Heat's depth woes, I don't think we'll Riley coach any time this season. He know's they probably won't be winning this year and need the off-season (and the MLE) to acquire a better supporting cast.

Man Shannon Brown has been so ridiculously good off the bench. Going great guns in the Chicago game atm.

Averaging 11 points per game in only 18 minutes while shooting 52% from the field and 51 % from downtown.

Just watching lakers vs bulls ATM thinking to how good would the bulls be with a legitimate 2 guard, Rose is someone who can get his teammates very good looks just need someone to convert those opportunities, also can't wait to see Boozer and Noah teaming up in the frontcourt

Not to mention that they'll have one of the best bigs off the bench in Gibson. Nice front-court rotation

Shannon Brown with 21 points in 21 mins.

Haven't heard that one. Would certainly hurt the top teams more (which I guess would be the point).
Yeah I'd say it would stop teams such as LA being add a guy like Ron Artest to their already stacked team. I also read it was to help stop dumb GMs handing out bad deals when they are already over the cap like the Knicks did for years on end.

I really do not think they will get rid of it all together but it is going to be an interesting off season.

Have Chicago played the Heat yet? Noah's going to eat them alive.

EDIT. Just checked that the Bulls don't play the Heat until the new year

I remember a few years back the bulls got criticised for taking Noah in the draft (many thought they should have taken Spencer Hawes) but Noah has probably turned out to be the 2nd or 3rd best player to come out of the 2007 class behind Durant and alongside Horford, while Hawes has turned out to be very unexceptional
