I remember a few years back the bulls got criticised for taking Noah in the draft (many thought they should have taken Spencer Hawes) but Noah has probably turned out to be the 2nd or 3rd best player to come out of the 2007 class behind Durant and alongside Horford, while Hawes has turned out to be very unexceptional
Yeah Noahs stock took a massive hit in his last year of college. He was projected to be the number #1 pick in 2006 but then pulled out of that draft and was exposed a little in college. He went into the 2007 draft as a role player off the bench.

I remember all the hype in that range was about Yi, Wright, Brewer, Thorton and Julian Wright. Noah has really trumped them all!

Magic beat the Heat 103-95.

Only time that Wade looked good was when Lebron was on the bench. Seems to be a bit of a recurring theme for them.

Just great stuff happening at Miami. Wait another week and people will be calling Wade overrated (which he is anyway).

Heat lose, Thunder lose and Celtics win - one of the better days in the NBA for Sonics fans.

I think Cleveland would be much higher above the current Heat in the conference had Lebron stayed.

In saying that (being a 1 eyed Knicks man), Lebron & Wade should of gone with STAT to NY, with Felton & Gallo (& the contributions off the bench) they would be right up the top end.

Iirc didn't you guys only have enough room for 2 max players? Considering Amare was one, both Lebron & Wade couldn't have happened.

Nah what they should have done was moved Deng from Chicago and got Wade and James there.

Imagine that starting 5?

C - Noah
PF - Boozer
SF - James
SG - Wade
PG - Rose

Name me a team better than that?

Nobody would take deng and his contract though.. It would have been Noah/Gibson?/James/Wade/Rose... Which I think is better. But I guess James and Wade didn't think so. They will be alright once they get a real centre and a NBA quality starting pg

Haywood's been pretty poor this season. Thank god the Mavs didn't give him a long-term contract this off-season.

SAN ANTONIO -- Dallas Mavericks backup center Brendan Haywood has been suspended for Friday's game for a violation of team rules, coach Rick Carlisle said.

In other disciplinary news..

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The New Jersey Nets have assigned Terrence Williams to their NBA Development League affiliate in Springfield, Mass.

General Manager Billy King announced the move on Friday, saying the second-year guard will benefit from playing for the Springfield Armor while he is on the team's inactive list.

The Nets put Williams on the inactive list Tuesday for "repeatedly violating team policy." The team's sixth man missed Tuesday's home game against Atlanta and Wednesday's game in Boston. King said he discussed the move with coach Avery Johnson.

LeBron became the NBA's greatest joke after his little TV stunt called "THE DECISION", but it is good that he's losing more now than he did in Cleveland.

Spurs with an impressive come-from-behind win against New Orleans. Were down 17 at one point.

Are they the only ones in the West with a genuine shot at knocking off the Lakers in the playoffs? I can't see anyone besides the Spurs taking down the Lakers over 7 games, Utah might jag a game or two but that's about it.

Right now though Indy going pound for pound with the Lakers.

I think Dallas are a chance if Caron Bulter can regain some of his form from his years in Washington.
