There is no good reason for that, JJ is not a max guy. He's there best player but i dont think hes even there most important player for the team.
No he isn't - Smith was our best player last year and Horford has been our best player this year, followed by Smith. Johnson was a top player 3 years ago but is no longer one.

Because he's actually getting minutes

Armon Johnson is such a sh*t back up PG.

I was really hoping Mills would land in somewhere like San Antonio or Miami or someone like that who could really utilise his speed, athleticism and freaking ability to hand the ball off.

In a good place, he can be Russell Westbrook with his speed.

But the Blazers are just talent stocking and holding him back...they should just let him go.

Patty Mills is good and very quick but he has nowhere near the athletic ability of Russ, not even in the same league.

I still think when he's healthy he's there best player. But i rarely see the hawks play so you would know better then me I guess.

Westbrook is a top 5 pg. He is averaging 23.7 points, 5.5 boards and 8.6 ast... I doubt even given the same minutes Mills ever gets remotely close to that and I really like Mills.

I like JJ personally. Yeah he is over paid but who isn't these days?

Agree about Westbrook, dude has been killin it this year, he has outplayed Durant a lot of the time. I think he is almost as good as DRose, the only thing ill hold against him is that he's playing with a genuine superstar in Durant where as DRose has had to do it all himself. Boozer is the best DRose has ever played with and he has only played a couple of games.

My top 5 PG would be:

1.Dwill
2.Paul
3.Rose
4.Rondo
5.Westbrook

But the list is very debatable, there are so many good PGs around.

Westbrook took how long to finally get adjusted?

Mills doesn't get the gametime nor the opportunity to really run a team that he should.

When he does, he will be up there I think.

I said Westbrook LIKE...as in using his speed to take advantage of defenses.

Not exactly like Westbrook.

Mills reminds me a bit of Tony Parker and could develop into a decent role-player off the bench. Probably headed into a career similar to Early Boykins (scoring combo guard for 10-15 off the bench) given his size and defensive limitations.

Thats why I thought the Spurs would be a good fit for him.

His speed may suit the Warriors or Suns but he can't knock down the 3, a staple of both those teams. Where he'd really (a) get a chance to play and develop (not happening at the Spurs) and (b) mesh well, would be either the Bobcats or Grizzlies IMO. Both are paper thin at the point and are in desperate need of a scoring punch off the bench.

At this point in time he would fit in well anywhere that isnt to deep at the 1, maybe new york. He can take advantage of his speed in any style of offense but i dont really see him getting much of an opportunity to do so, even when he is on with teams second units he won't be the first option. I think Tigerhawk mentioned an Earl Boykins like career for Mills, i agree with that, he can be a solid role player in the league but I doubt he will ever start on the regular.

Ron Artest on the Triangle:

"See, I can't really understand the Triangle [offense]," he admits. "There's 1,000 plays in the Triangle. It's such a challenge. I get so frustrated about it, I have to call my psychiatrist. So I just stay in my one spot in the corner. If I leave my spot, I get yelled at. Phil's gonna say, 'What are you doing over there?!?' So I just don't move."

Interesting game yestersay between Portland and Orlando. Dwight went off (39 points, 15 rebounds), but it seemed to actually throw the Magic of their game. We all want Dwight to become a consistent low post player. But in this game, the Magic consistently feeding Dwight the ball seemed take the Magic away from their game, i.e. ball movement, pick n rolls.

Blazers seemed fairly content to allow Dwight to go off, and deny the Magic the 3 ball.

Yep spot on Ridders. The problem was as mentioned by the commentators, Portland did not double Dwight at any time, they took their licks with Dwight and he had a greta game. Problem was, no double team, means no open looks for Carter, Lewis and Nelson.

Carter 2-12
Lewis 4-10
Nelson 4-14

Bulls doing a good job against the Lakers, up by a few heading into the last quarter. Boozers impact has been huge.

How good has this game been down the stretch? Chicago seem to have it after LA did a great job of getting back in it.
