Haha your a Knicks fan right?

Maybe

But in a way I didn't want James, imagine all the bandwagon Knicks fans at music festivals etc just because of LeBron, it would of been painful. Especially in Australia where not many people follow the NBA and the majority just know/like/follow players like Kobe/James etc.

88-80 Celtics win, i know its only the first game but this Heat side is gonna struggle against big sides like the Celtics/Lakers etc. Bosh cant post up and is a jump shooter, they got a few things they need to work on.

Season openings don't get any better than that. Only 9 more games to lose and the ludicrous 72-10 talk is out of the picture, I give them two months before they lose that many.

The only time Miami looked good tonight was when Lebron was all by his lonesome in the 3rd destroying the celts single handidly. No way Wade and Lebron will figure it out. This has Barkley/Pippen, Melo/Iverson written all over it.

After the big 3, all heat players are complete trash.

Pretty much. Although the fact that Bosh and Wade had terrible nights and they still only lost by 8 against their major Conference rival will give them something out of tonights game.

Lakers were down by 15 but are up by 8 with just over 5mins to play, Shannon Brown has been lighting it up and has just made his last 4 shots which includes three 3s

Good game to start the season, came back from 15pts down and held on for a tough win. Brown was on fire at one point and really brought the Lakers back into the game and Blake & Barnes showed how much better they are going to make the bench.

Kobe played a solid game and for someone still recovering from his injuries to start off with 27/7/5 was a good hit out, Odom and Pau played really well and dominated inside.

Shattered I missed it. Kobe what a man. Doesn't seem as though he missed a beat.

For anyone that watched, how were Yao's minutes distributed? Did he play down the stretch? Noticed that he logged 23 minutes so they kept to the minutes cap.

And how about Rondo eh? Finished with 17 assists.

As great as Boston looked at times, don't want to get too carried away since they did the exact same thing last season. Started like a house on fire, but eventually petered of and played .500 ball to end the season.

Will be interesting to see if they can maintain the intensity throughout the season (not that they really need to).

In regards to the Heat, their offense looked dynsfunctional, although that was partly to be expected. And having your first game against one of the league's best defences can't exactly have helped. They could really use some more outside shooting though.
