Interesting to look at those guys now. Webber has had the best career of the 5, but is struggling to come back from injury now. Bradley has been a mediocre center. Penny was a great player but diminished by injuries. Mashburn was very good but may be done in by injuries now. Rider had some good years but was a head case, or maybe a druggie, and isn't playing any more.

Kind of a hard luck group.

and to think Van Exel was picked no 37 in that draft

other notables in that draft were Allen Houston, Vin Baker and Sam Cassell

Geez I wish Vin Baker was never born   .

Na, good guy, horrible player from his fifth year onwards. Definately not worth trading Kemp for :( .

in 1991/2 season shawn kemp had the dunk of the year (according to NBA action)
questions :

what team did he make the dunk against?
which player did he dunk on?

it was alton lister.
Earlier in the game he jammed on chris gatling off a blocked shot and it was a hell of a dunk. Gatling even shook Kemps hand congratulating him!!! but the liston dunk was crazy.

Name the number 7 pick in the 1993 draft who was destined for big things when in college but never got anywhere near his potential, and what was the major reason for his poor form as a pro??

Bobby Hurley from Duke to Sacremento

Notable draftees

Allan Houstan 11
Sam Cassell 24
Nick Van Exel 37

Correct. A car crash in his rookie year ended what had looked like a very promising career. He played in the NBA for 6 or so years with little success as a back up PG. Yours RHYTHM AND STEALTH....

Kirk Penney for the Clippers and possibly Minnesota.

Edit: It was Miami, knew it was an M team. He did get signed by Minnesota but apparentely didn't play.
