Yeah, the confusing part is that Todd was Dikembe's backup on the Sixers, then went to the Nets as a free agent and played against Shaq in the Finals again, then was traded back to the Sixers for Dikembe.

Poor Todd is still a young guy, but his career has been cut short by a nerve disorder of some kind that affects his feet. He does NBA analysis on a Canadian sports network, and says he still hopes his condition will heal itself and he'll be able to play again. Canada certainly missed him in the Olympic qualifying tournament in 03.

I'll have to look it up - I just know it was last game before retiring. A sad way to finish, as it kept him out of the 94 WC's in Toronto. He must have rehabbed it fine though, because he used to scrimmage with Raptor prospects when he was GM in the Raps early years.

it was against the orlando magic at the palace of auburn hills michigan.

It was a sad way to go out, but hey, in sports there are rairly any fairytales.
Isiah had a stellar 13 yr career, all nba selection, 2 rings, 2 all star mvps, top 3 small men ever to play the game....he was my fav player all time.

I don't know what that order would cost you, but I'm sure you'd like the book. Full of lots of good inside stuff, like the Dantley trade and the scene right after the championship parade, when Mahorn found out he was exposed in the expansion draft.

Yeah, Ainge was traded to Kings for Eddie Pinckney and Joe Kleine, I think. Later played for Portland and Phoenix.

Charlie must be on a Christmas break, so I'll butt in here: Who were the last 2 head coaches to win the NBA title, who were not ex-NBA players?

Coach Pop, yes. Daly also did not play in the NBA, but there is one more recent winner - it's a bit of a trick question.

Yeah Larry Brown played on the 64 Olympic team, then played a very good career in the ABA, but by the time of the merger in 76-77 he was coach of the Denver Nuggets. So he never played in the NBA.
