One thing that is helping me is guys that I drafted have new positions now

Lewis is now also a 5/8, Moltzen is now also a centre and Kingston is a 7. I won't use Kingston or Lewis in the halves but it good depth if I get injuries.

Burgess is back for me and only missing Josh Morris, Beau Ryan(depth anyway) and Matai.
one feature that i really love about this comp. it helped me out massively last year... and i was sorely disappointed when i drafted a few blokes in nrlceo and found out that it wasn't this way over there. particularly i have Jarrod Mullen in a public nrlceo comp, but he's only a 5/8th. of course i was pretty certain he would play at least some halfback during the year, and thought it would be added as a position he can play rather quickly. now i'm stuck with Todd Carney starting and Mullen on the bench (worth half points...). either of them should garner a very good trade for a position im weak in, though, so i can't complain too much.

Yeah I just started with NRLCEO for the first time this year. I'm running a sharks forum comp and I'm the fire breathing fists from mars in the andrew johns comp and am struggling with captain points etc. I prefer Nearly sport myself....

If these teams were real this would be a massive game(bondi vs gosford) for rivals

Slater vs Hayne
Prince vs Thurston
Farah vs Ennis
Ellis vs Burgess

The papers would have a field day!

Well played perverse your team is proving very consistent and you have the try scorers for this season. I seem to have jinxed Morris, he has been sh*t for me this season. Given this game is lost I'm hoping Barba gets some points as I need it for my other nearlysport game and NRLCEO.

cheers, aussies1st. i'm very pleased with my early season form/fortune. maintaining the rage is now the key... there are plenty of teams in this comp that can, and will have my measure at different stages of the season, i'm sure.

Upset of the century. Unlucky Pervy, only pipped you by one point.

Well I've had my two wins for this season, time to prepare for the shellackings.

yeah RHCP, it happens... f**king Pato comes in with a dominant forward... he'll probably only be good for another 2 or 3 of those this year. i was spewin', but it was a good match all the same. oh well, onto next week... who is my next victim?

hmm it appears to be the Mustangs, who are extremely unlucky to be where they are on the ladder atm. i'm going to have to pull my socks up here... i feel a bit of a ladder slide coming on.

Not regarding this comp but rather NNRL in general, has anybody else been wondering what's going on with the DF awarding?

They've been giving out DFs quite randomly to players who are well off the total and lots of times fail to award it those who surpass the total with ease.

Like, last week, Mickey Paea got a df with a total of 36 (25 T + 11 HU) when Brent Kite had 40 or say, Gareth Ellis this week who had 40.

Is there any reason behind this?

They take into account the meters gained as well, Paea had the right amount of tackles and meters to make up for the few missing hit ups.

How good is this comp? Certainly some nail biting finishes. Hoping for a DP for either Gaz or Boyd to grab a sneaky win over the Beasts.

Yeah but I thought 40 was a WH either way?

I had Gareth Ellis this week in a tight match who got 40 but not awarded a WH...luckily it doesn't look like it'll end up costing me(losing by 6).

Offloads are equal to 1 tackle, and as stated already, the criteria doesn't work like nrlceo. There are several different criteria that can be attained independently. Will explain that slightly better when I'm not typing with my phone.
