It was government land and somehow the council gave it to them many years ago. Rort.can someone explain how cronulla are up for government help to improve their recently rebuilt ground ??
As they own the land which they sold off to develop and hence make a motza WHY do they need help they should have put enough money in the bank to pay for it . as it is how are they looking at improving it appears on tv as being encircled with apartments and the leagues club ...

I agree as a Sharks supporter our derby game was given a horrible time slot.There'd be a lot of families with younger kids who would avoid going 6:15 on a Sunday let alone adults gearing themselves for the beginning of a working week. It's absolutely a shit time slot
Saving grace for this game was playing the Sharks. How many other local derbies have been dropped into this time slot? Should have been a bigger occasion
