He is the 3rd string 5/8 from the Titans who finished 13th last season. So we have 2 new players Liddle and Musgrave from the wooden spooners, Murdoch - Masila from 15th place Warriors and Lui-Tosa from the Qld Cup. Now that should make us competitive this year. If we were playing NSW Cup. Unbelievable

Well you need cannon fodder to fill spaces and sometimes you get a good one. Turner is a 5/8 hooker half. Some good video footage of him about against average company so we'll see hey!

I would call this signing an unnecessary necessity.

Signed as depth with some NRL experience. Remember we do need to fill the KOE Cup team as well and evident we needed a playmaker/back-up hooker when we started CM at 5/8 in that trial game.

With Hunt probably playing SOO again and Bud a little suspect injury wise, it's not the worst signing. Some boys who will line up in Koe Cup don't have much experience, including the young half Herring and the hooker Finau, with CM being the really only one of them that has Koe Cup experience.

So let's not be too down on this one. Because as I said it's an unnecessary necessity given our halves predicament at present.

At least they are consistent……consistently bad at signing players. I dare say anyone in this forum would have the brains to go after better players than what they have signed.

Much as I love a good conspiracy theory, in the case of the Dragons I think there's far more evidence for the incompetence theory.
