New recruits for 2023

Almost Ready?. On glimpses that I have seen I would of thought they were not up to "almost ready" level yet, more like "has potential"
Muhleisen is imo. Have seen quite a bit of this 'pocket rocket' in Ressies. Gives clean service, can organize, a strong defender and no slouch out of dummy half. Pretty much all we need to replace Macca the snail. No world beater but better than what we have now.

Signing Liddle is more strategic than anything else. There's no confirmation Macca will retire, but injuries and realisation he's slipping behind is more the point. When Macca doesn't play, who have we drafted in to play hooker? Moose, Mbye and Bud, hardly what you'd call, apt replacements.

I think the real target is in '24, as far as hooker is concerned, Liddle is just a band-aid and my guess will play a lot of KOE Cup, but who knows, and as for young CM, he's a ways off yet.
So another rebuilding year in 2023? Great!

So based on prevalent opinions on here, we have had a first grade hooker, fullback and halfback in reserve grade, combined with a very experienced forward back with heaps of NRL experience but struggle to beat reserve grade teams. Something isn't adding up there.

Hope you are right Rig
Our blokes might finally be starting to look at LIKE FOR LIKE REPLACEMENTS
Big strong , tough , mobile and plenty of mongrel
along with Murchie would compliment our pack nicely
Would be a massive signing for us and hope its true

However does he realise that he is behind woods in the pecking order ?? ( I am joking ) How good would it be to have quality forwards so woods could just roll around in reserve grade all year ..

Now all we need is a coach that can develop a game plan for the new recruits

Yep that's all true but the reggies aren't performing because of the first grade coach, haven't you heard?

Yep. So I believe the rebuild started last year with the introduction of Webb. The whole Price/McGregor years were wasted.
I think the term “rebuild” is an excuse to allow teams to be shit for a few years. Just look at the Cowboys. They turned it around in 1 year. When Bennett came to us, he made us a powerhouse in his first year.
