Haven't used Cody Ramsay's money yet either.Plus Mbye reportedly moving on immediately gives us not only salary cap space for 2024, but hopefully at least one new signing prior to 7 August.

The RLPA executives and Clint Newtown are flogs
The NRL doesn't suffer. We do.Agree KogarahWarrior.
They are photos for goodness sake.
A big negation braker, NRL shacking in their boots.
or his spot in the 30..Haven't used Cody Ramsay's money yet either.
Thankyou Draginzaaar. I recently ranted over this and emailed the club without reply.I wrote to the club about the blank faces in the player profiles that some of us have been complaining about. I got this reply today:
Thank you for contacting the St George Illawarra Dragons!
The player profile section of the website is not controlled by Dragons staff and is updated directly by the NRL. Due to the ongoing CBA dispute, the NRL is unable to upload headshots of our new signings as they do not have access/permissions to player imagery.
We understand that this can be quite frustrating and hopefully as discussions continue those permissions will be able to be granted.
I wonder if the Dragons will sign anyone new before the deadline? Maybe they have just given up on this year and aren't even trying. It's hard to tell with Haran in charge!Bulldogs have signed Liam Knight but look like saying goodbye to RFM and Sutton. They are certainly not twiddling their thumbs with their squad changes and being very active. Hope they still balls it up like they have so far this year.
None of those 3 are any great loss.Bulldogs have signed Liam Knight but look like saying goodbye to RFM and Sutton. They are certainly not twiddling their thumbs with their squad changes and being very active. Hope they still balls it up like they have so far this year.
Yep it would. Especially he has had his issues on and off field. Big gamble to take on.I wonder if his forum would go into meltdown if we signed Liam Knight?
Well if we could get three decent replacements it would be an improvementApparently free to leave club;
Ben Murdoch Masila
Tyrell Fuiamono
Tautau Moga
Jayden Hunt
Zane Musgrove
Jayden Sullivan
This is just disgraceful!Thankyou Draginzaaar. I recently ranted over this and emailed the club without reply.

Sure, one could easily argue "not a big thing" in the grand scheme of things but some clubs can get their front office shit together and some can't.

Solidarity with the workers
his approach is scattered and inconsistent tho - they've gone backwards this yearAt least Gus is doing something, our club seems to take things too slowly.
Because it's not about money, and the things they're asking for are only possible if they act collectively as a union. (Things like transparency about the administration's financial reporting - etc)I mentioned this elsewhere but will repost here:
Something has dawned on me... if players have signed contracts and managers that they pay to advice them... why would they need to join a Union (RLPA). Personally I think it is time the NRL told the RLPA they have concerns about "forcing" players into an association. Maybe the NRL should give players the right to deal directly on a 1-on-1 level to work out their agreements with their employers (the clubs) and let the RLPA call for players to put their hand in their pockets to folk out a membership payment. I wonder what sort of coverage the RLPA would then hold. Just a thought?
