Its amusing that 9 months ago when we were chasing DCE and Hodgo was in form, there were very few in here that gave Maloney the thumbs up.

Interesting to see the dogs put together a team of talented up and comers who are playing at a competitive NRL level. We just do not have the culture (yet) to do that. We are on the verge with Holmes, Bird possibly Feki, Gagan, Nu Brown all shaping up but do we have the coach and culture to bring them through together?
Signing Maloney would be a relief. Not that exciting moving forward but at least a half who gives us a chance to be top 8 for a few years. Personally would prefer to see us chase Hastings or Mbye.
Would also actually like us to take on Sandow for a short term 2 year contract. He would replace Robbo for the remainder of this year - we have the defence to accommodate him and he gives us what we so badly need: attack! Next year he becomes our backup halfback depending on who we sign...
