Like most other people i'm surprised Walker is in there. Not sure where he adds to the team.

I'm also not convinced on Corder or Jackson. I just don't understand their hype. They're just good club players and that's it.

I've heard on the foxsports website that Dyan Walker is set to be named as the bench 'utility'.

If so then I'm done following the Blues.

I reckon Bob Fulton has given him an Origin guarantee to sign with Manly.

I'll hold off and hope that mail is wrong but f**k me, if that's true I give up.

That was the rumour around Souths forums when he first left for Manly, with heavy involvement from Fulton

And don't get me started on Walker, he isn't even good in the spine positions at NRL level. And he is expected to be injury cover there. Insanity.

Agree with you for once bunniesman. Dylan Walker selection is laughable. They could have picked josh reynolds off the bench if they wanted a genuine utility. He is a better 6 and a better 9 than Walker. Apart from that the rest of the team is pretty spot on except I would have had beau Scott somewhere in the starting 2nd row over Cordner in particular

Cordner is bog average. He has done less than nothing in his previous Origin appearances.

Cordner is far and away the best 2dn rower NSW have. The hate train stopped at his station last year because he plays for the roosters and dragons fans believe Frizzell is better.

The problem last year was that Cordner was picked on the bench, he is not an impact player so should either start or not play at all. Frizzell would be a way better option on the bench.

As for the rest of the team, I hate players being picked out of position, for some reason we think because GI can do it, our players can do it. Dugan should be FB or not in the team at all, same with Fergo at centre who has been picked based on potential and not on form which recently has been poor.

I like the forward pack and our halves are as good as any other combo we have i.e. not in the same league as QLD. Can I confirm that Reynolds will cop full blame for any loss as per his predecessor?

Squad was named in alphabetical order and Walker was named towards the end.

IMO, credibility was lost on the very first name. Greg Bird. Then the series was lost on the second.....Biyd Cordner. By the fourth name.....Robbie Farah, you knew that Daley (or is pressure from Fulton) is not cut out to manage NSW Origin beyond this season. Just the same players that have been losing series after series selected for the upteenth time.

The BS philosophy of NSW Origin of picking the same old favourites has to be dumped. Never will be while Fulton is 'advisor.'
