Let me get this straight they think that Walkner is a better and more likely matchwinner than say James Roberts....well NSW as a QLD supporter, thank you. Daley is the worst NSW coach in history.

Coote is a better fullback than Moylan at this level. One player has done it in big games (finals/GF's)...the other has done nothing!

Coote was the guy who turned the Cowboys season around last year, without him Thurston was struggling big time. He's an interesting case, dunno if he's right for origin though.

Not highlights but they were both very good. Boyd in particular outplayed Klemmer and he was used specifically for that job. Stuart brought him on as soon as Klemmer came on.

I know I'd prefer a guy who has done it in finals over a bloke who hasn't been in any big games. It seems Moylan is getting more praise for being injured over the last 2-3 years. Coote should have been picked, or how about they just pick Dugan. He's average but at least you know he'll run the ball back. NSW have a zillion centres, could name Roberts, Morris, etc and that is a better way to do it.

Ahh fair enough, I'd probably have one or the other there next year seeing as Gallen will be retiring . Seems the Blues prop depth have a good future ahead atleast

A GF or even a finals series is of similar quality. Coote did it to win a GF with the Cowboys! What exactly has Moylan done? If he was so good, I'm assuming Penrith won this week....oh hang on....

Dugan wasn't picked as fullback as he is limited as a ball player.

I think Coote may have been a better option, but I'm not unhappy with Moylan.

Playing in finals / Grand Final you could argue Coote has already "played at this level" same intensity.

Also Brisbane / Cows would come close to SOO intensity. I think Coote would have them covered

What do you mean? Moylan was only injured last year. He hasn't played in any GFs but he has stepped up in pressure situations a few times already. He is a better ballplayer then Coote and given NSWs lack of genuine ball players id say that's what got him the nod.

I like Coote but I think Moylan is definitely worth a shot, he has a bigger ceiling IMO. Hopefully he doesn't sh*t the bed.

Well its not. Origin is its own beast

Lets not forget that Pearce has also played well in semis and a GF......

I dont disagree. Both are a little up and down tbh. More than I would like. I think Vaughan is carrying an injury anyway but Boyd needs to work on his consistency.

NSW fans for some reason feel the need to bury players based on club alliances. Skeepe did start it but whatever. Vaughan and Boyd are good young props. Klemmer is a good young prop too. Its all good.

TBH I think their ability is shown just as much in our losses. We've had 2 comprehensive losses this year against the Sharks and Eels but they both still managed to bash out 100+ metres. Probably to make up for FPNs 25m games.
