Any updates on this?
This has to be the worst time for a rebuild.
Last night I went past l, there was many chairs left. You would think they would be more proactive.

Penrith Stadium tender shortlist announced | Penrith Stadium
penrithstadium.insw.com
Penrith Stadium has hit a major milestone with three contractors shortlisted to tender to design and construct the redeveloped stadium and entertainment precinct.
After significant interest in the project from industry, three firms have been selected, through a carefully considered and competitive process, to submit a formal tender:
The shortlisted contractors are highly regarded firms and have extensive experience delivering large and complex construction and stadium projects.
- A W Edwards Pty Ltd
- Hansen Yuncken
- John Holland
Tenders will be invited in July, with the contract expected to be awarded later this year.
When complete, Penrith Stadium will be a superior entertainment venue, significantly improving the experience for fans and spectators, with more food outlets, amenities and recreation space, new scoreboards and ribbon boards, sound systems and lighting.
As part of the upgrade the ground capacity is set to be increased to around 25,000 and grandstands will be re-designed to be steeper, so fans are closer to the action with better sightlines to the field or stage.
After the completion of early works and site preparation, the successful contractor will begin the main works in early 2025 with the project expected to be completed in 2026. More than 500 jobs will be created during construction, with a further 650 jobs to be supported once operational, providing a boost to the local economy.
Infrastructure NSW has appointed project architect Populous and landscape architect Tyrell Studio to work closely with the successful contractor to build the stadium and surrounding precinct. The design of the stadium includes a Connection with Country that pays homage to the First Nations history of the area and surrounds, as well as a sustainable design targeting a 5-star green star rating.
The community has been actively involved in shaping the future of Penrith Stadium and were recently invited to have their say on the project. A response to submissions report will soon be prepared and shared with the community.
