Indeed, fair call, i picked up on another poster without checking. My bad.

I am, an NZ RL supporter. Not an NRL supporter. They have broken too many promises, have raped and continue to rape the game here.

And as you keep pointing out, its TV where the money is made, not at the ground.
Are you the only Union guy that's optimistic?

Three things from the Article stand out.
"After perhaps the best start to a Super Rugby season in years, even decades" -- Yet you muppets keep saying the comp is dying here... although since the comp is only two years old that doesn't really make sense.

"Players from both countries are being rested en masse"-- That happens in a development comp. It's all about the internationals. With an actual world cup at the end of the year, both national unions are managing the workload of their top players.

"Amazingly, there were only two yellow cards in the entire round"-- The single thing that your repeated posts of ex players criticising the game last year were on about. Seems the players are finally learning. Good for keeping the concussion stats down.

The Blues at least rested their All Blacks in a game they won, against the Force, but that was completely overshadowed down the road at Mt Smart by a Warriors side picking up a third win out of four in their NRL campaign in front of 19,000 fans. That was the largest crowd at a sporting event in NZ over a weekend that included top level rugby, league, and international one day cricket and football.

Thats gotta hurt reading that.

Because 19K is not a great crowd. It's an Ok crowd. You muppets think its the end of the world, when it was beaten last week and will be beaten this week.

Your hypocrisy knows no boundaries LOL
It's a better crowd than 95 % of Super Rugby crowds. And nobody has even said it was a great crowd.
There's a massive problem brewing in Super Rugby, there's the od blockbuster game that gets a decent crowd but 95% of games won't cover half of the stadium rent.

Beaten last week by the not only top 2 sides in NZ but the whole super rugby competition.

Also that 25k at Eden park was beaten by the warriors last season against the west tigers when over 26k attended 👍

Bullshit, even when you include Australian games it's not "95%'. You are a blatant liar. Take out Australian games, which you always put in to bolster your fraudulent claims and your lie is even worse.

And as for your "And nobody has even said it was a great crowd." how about i link you and wallys quotes that said it was.

Shit you make up so much bullshit. Its the forth and fifth ranked teams. not the "top 2 sides"

The Auckland v Canterbury clash last week at Eden park that attracted 25k is their top marquee game which was more than doubled in the NRL by the Brisbane derby the following week with over 51k in attendance.

Didn’t both sides contest the final last year?

havent the crusaders been NZ most dominant side in the competition in recent history?

isn’t it the biggest rivalry in NZ rugby Union the north island v South Island clash?

None of that makes them the 2 biggest sides. And all the NZ derbies at Eden park have got similar crowds. And Saturday nights game will as well.

Which is totally irrelevant. Jeez you are getting more and more desperate, This thread is an attack thread about NZ Rugby, not brisbane you muppet.
