that I don't believe the .... claims ... of a sport that doesn't.... allow... its TV ratings , or infact , very little data to be published is quite relevant in this discussion

So the fact the League ratings aren't published in NZ mean the game is dying here then?

NZ
few crowds , they're embarrassing & thats obvious
no TV data .... hmmmm , wonder why ?
little data of any note at all , see above

Just because you choose not to believe something because it goes against your narrative means nothing. Three different news sites, in now half a dozen articles have said the same thing. And now a CEO risks his professional reputation by stating what he has seen to corroborate the news sites. Either what they are saying is true, or its a massive conspiracy. Occam's razor says you're full of shit.

Aus
no crowds
TV ratings so low they don't make any lists &, the streaming company that broadcasts it is embarrassed to release them
not much else by way of data pertaining to KPI's

And what's happening in Australia, like you, is irrelevant.

in comparison to other sports yawnion competes with in this region
they appear scared & to be failing
only deluded mouth pieces would think anything else

Yeah, but you are an idiot, so when anything "appears" to be something. the opposite is probably true.

can we rename Stupor wugby

TBA !!
It’s funny seeing nrl crowds in nz booming in a country we are told is crazy about rugby union

it looks like outside of all blacks games those claims are hugely overblown

while union is afraid to publish their crowds the nrl has no similar problem

That’s a bloody wide stadium!
It's a dual purpose ground used for international cricket often. You get decent view in most areas of the stands - I think photos are a little bit deceptive. They used to have the fences closer to the field but they stopped doing that about 20 odd years ago.

My mates and I used to take plastic chairs and sit on halfway by the fences. I doubt they'd let us carry our plastic chairs in these days.

This is a thread about NZ, viewership of league in Oz is irrelevant to this thread. Indeed viewership of rugby in Oz is irrelevant to this thread. The simple fact is Sky don't need to provide viewership data if they don't want to, they don't need to from a legislative standpoint, they don't need to from a competitive standpoint (as there are none). They just need subs, and then they see what's driving those subs. As much as you don't want it to be true rugby drives those subs in NZ.

She starts with a strawman, no one is claiming the NRL, more specifically the Warriors, isn't popular in NZ. She even gets called out for it in the thread by a guy called Rugby League is the Winner.
So rugby league is the winner ?

Simply showing the but but but excuse makers in here , of which you're now one too.. what professional sports do , present their KPI's to the public
be transparent
what sport doesn't want to show people how they're doing ?

everyone watching the warriors even all blacks
Don't think they will go back to Napier in a hurry which is a shame. As the crowd was packed and looked pumped maybe too pumped.

But unfortunately it just wasn't a good look with those idiots ruining it everyone. And stopping the game every few mins in the 2nd half.

theres
2 bits of data about an important KPI for RL in NZ

2 more then toffball have had the balls to publish dickhead

And where are those TV viewing figures for the Warriors? or ANY other NRL game on NZ TV? Are they hiding them because they are "scared" as you claim?
