" threatening the NRL"??? What has that got to do with anything? The All Blacks are no threat to the NRL just as the NRL is no threat to the All Blacks. But each and every one of those 7am All Blacks games will out rate ANY of the NRL games, prime time or not.
Who cares

Geez, ya pulled that one back pretty quick lol

The world cup games will all out rate the NRL games... there are All Blacks games before the world cup that aren't on free to air.

And just for context. The Warriors GF appearance rate about the same as a dead rubber Bledisloe game that year. Once....

Outside of a WC year players are going to France deeming themselves ineligible.. the jumper just doesn't mean what it once did.

Players realising they are now too old to be selected, or not good enough indicates to you that " the jumper just doesn't mean what it once did."???? ... In the last decade there have been ONLY three players who were still wanted in the All Blacks who have signed for overseas in their "prime"... you're just wishful thinking.

A 22 year old All blacks just signed a deal in France. Anyway...
Imagine trying to complete with this entertainment..

Just like people find some things in League boring. No game is perfect, in fact all games are far from perfect. League is no better than Rugby, just as Rugby is no better than League, they are just different.
Rugby league is heaps better than Union.
That's like saying watching a movie at home on fta with ad breaks is just different to going to the cinema.

Boring bits in Union ( ad breaks really)
*Line outs
*scrums
* mauls
*penalty kicks

The best highlights of Rugby Union are what Rugby league is - running Rugby. Only league does that the whole time.

I'm guessing you're overweight ( no offence) and played league as a kid but as you got older put on a few pounds and started playing Union with a bunch of other more girthy pals as the breaks, mauls , scrums and extra players account for extra weight.
Kinda a fat boys futurity camp .
And honestly that's all good, I'm glad you found your click but as a spectacul people don't want to watch a bunch of fat dudes catching their breath to form a scrum to decide who has the fattest dudes.
🤷‍♂️

Ball in play time is a massive difference and that’s even allowing rucks mauls and lineouts as in play

Like everything else in this thread that entire post is wrong. It's pure opinion and not even remotely shared by everyone.

As for me, I grew up playing Schoolboy Rugby on Saturdays and League for my club Randwick on Sundays. That continued all the way to my 20's where i played Prems for Randwick and then Marist Northern under Ken Laban. I stopped playing Rugby when I made prems. I coached at Parramatta and back at Randwick and was an administrator there as well.

Because you choose to believe something, doesn't remotely make it true.
