Im in no disillusionment, penrith should win this, but ill still be happy for the wahs to put in their effort, theyve over-exceeded everyones expectations, and if they win then great, we will go around the hard way and hope to best them in the GF if they make it
Posting sht that has nothing do with nz2 bid muga? Shame on you! Isn’t there a panthers forum for you?

“Not since the Winfield Cup boom of the early-1990s – when former Kiwis coach Graham Lowe was in charge of Manly Sea Eagles and the Queensland State of Origin team, and a torrent of All Blacks defected from the then-amateur code to the professional 13-a-side game – has union’s status as the kingpin of New Zealand sports been subjected to such an ambush.”

“Formerly rusted-on union fans are dedicating a bigger chunk of their sports-viewing time to the NRL.”

“This season the Warriors have fielded teams in the NSWRL-run SG Ball (under-19s) and NSW Cup (reserve grade) competitions. In 2024, the club will add teams to the Harold Matthews Cup (under-17) and Jersey Flegg Cup (under-21), while it will apply for reinstatement to the NRLW premiership for 2025”

match day merchandise revenue of up to 140k is excellent.”
But mate, Te Kaha told me there are no more juniors in NZ

Weve had from the commission:
Abdo and Vlandys talk up PNG/Pasifika
Vlandys talk up Perth
Vlandys talk up Melbourne 2 (lol)
Jones talk up Ipswich

no ones talked up NZ2 from the commission. Its clearly not on their radar, may change with Warriors success this year but still no signs they are interested in adding a second club. I am surprised but maybe it is due to no possible bidders banging on the door. Even Chalmers seems to have disappeared with no word for last 2 years.
Abdo has spoken about NZ quite a bit

This is utter b/s, the kiwis playing league are playing league because they want to play league and practically no one in NZ cares and claims it's because they aren't good enough for rugby. And even then some players just suit one sport or the other better, it's not a bad thing it's just facts. Tohu Harris was a good rugby player but he's an outstanding league player.

Our talent has always been spread out over two codes. There were more young NZers crossing over to league 10 years or so ago in the height of the paid U20s days than there are today.

Fonua Blake was never in NZ to have been able to "stay" in NZ rugby systems.

This whole post is uninformed bollocks.
Yeah but Nah, the piont i was making is correct isn't it ?

Its only in the last 20 years NZ has had a significant rise in league players...it's correct to say the increase in league numbers coincides with the All Blacks becoming less dominant?

20 years ago the Kiwis couldn't even field a team without the majority of the team being heritage players....heck, even the kiwis 2008 WC winning team had a heritage player as thier captain.

PS to make my original post less "utter bullocks" I've edited AFB and replaced him with Harris :D

Nope, your point isn't remotely correct. The ABs have only been dud for the past 4 years, for the rest of your 20 years they've been dominant.

In 2003, 20 years ago, the majority of the Kiwis were NZ born and bred. Richard Swain and the Cayless brothers being the notable heritage players. The 2008 squad had 3, last years team had 2. We'll always have a few heritage players.

I was actually talking about nz warriors, not penrith.
Where's the team from perf in the finals? Or let alone the NRL, this thread is about an second new zealand team coming in to take on eyes from RU, it would occasionally derive to talk about the first new zealand team due to there place in the finals,
..not a bitching contest from the resident WA bidders, trying to score more perf points with the LU members

Has he? I’ve not seen it.
Nrl360... but when i saw him talk about it, he was also talking about a pasifika team too aswell as trying to make sure the code is no.1 in the islands, not no.2 to Union in other words

How bout read the posts i replied to, not just mine, as you're butthurt and triggered from pneuma and I agreeing that you are over posting about perth local comps on an expansion thread about its WA bid or news about the bid, instead of just the actual Nrlwa threads, then persue my every posts regarding staying on topic, well if someone or yourself bring up afl here or on any thread referring to expansion or any rl threads, will you continue (as you normally do) talk them up or are we going to see you refrain from the repetitive BS about said AFL being the better sport in each and everyway...
Im actually suprised you didn't mention them in the other thread regarding NRL not giving concessions to any team... but but but afl

You know how juniors work yeh

takes 10 years or so to develop them

so the past four years goes back ten years so when we were getting so many

Can you better explain the point your making and relate it back to the original posters point?
