Funny how I've never heard of spark. NRL have never been in business with spark . They existed for a blink of an eye and now they're gone There's no hope for RL in NZ 🤣

You being ignorant of something in NZ??? Well I never.... Who would have thought it.

By the way.. spark is still around and unless they change their name always will be. The fact you don't know that is not surprising in the least.

With Nth Qld, Gold Coast & Warriors holding 3 of the bottom 4 spots

Maybe its not Sydney thats the problem
You’d need to look at avg for ptv and fta split given the unequable fta games which draw bigger audiences leading to skewed aggregates.
but yes Sydney is only a problem in terms of nrl also filling the comp with regional clubs meaning we have been missing key metro market teams all together due to number of sydney clubs plus regional clubs.

Multiple
/ˈmʌltɪpl/

having or involving several parts, elements, or members.

Several
/ˈsɛv(ə)rəl/

more than two but not many.

Now that we both know the definitions of the words we're using, would you like to have another go at naming an AFL club that splits it's home games between multiple major cities?!

The fact that you genuinely believe that a club that would do the NZ equivalent of splitting games between Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide, is even remotely feasible, let alone capable of being successful, is hilarious. And you've got the gall to refer to others as 'Chuckles' LMAO.
Semantics chuckles

gws plays games in two different states of Australia

Sharks, Dragons and Tigers holding 3 of the bottom 5 for crowds

"oh yeah but um but but, crowds aren't important anymore"
Thats what everyone is telling us

Its bums on lounges these days for TV revenue

Thats why games like GF replays are being broadcast on ThNF

Makes you wonder why the warriors are the least watched club in australia, by a long way, then doesn’t it?

The problem with these figures is some clubs got more games on Ch9 than others. The bottom five clubs got the least games on Ch9. The ones at the top got the most.

This article proves it.

Crowds are largely irrelevant as far as this discussion goes cause the clubs keep it

it’s about which clubs are worth the most to broadcasters

all regional sides offer less for tv than capital city sides in league strongholds

They should go back to the gf replay being an event

I’d make it in round zero and have it up for bids from rival cities

they do it this way to reward the team in the grand final to get the home game

when they could make it an event and give each side a juicy bonus

If you sort that for away crowds.

You will see Sydney clubs as the Top 7. That is the thing interstate people don't understand.
May not even see every home game but fans will go and see a game in a timeslot that suits.

TV money covers it anyway

Which just proves that Aussie TV doesn't want another NZ team. They don't want it, so they wont fund it. No chance at all of a second NZ team in the near future
