What the hell are you on about? It’s almost like you are avoiding the nuance because you don’t want to consider it

Chill dude, basically everybody in this forum can be placed in two categories: those who favour expansion to AFL states & those who don't. Yes, it's more subtle than that, for example if twiggy funds a Perth team I would support that, but it's more or less true. Everybody here knows it.. don't play dumb (if that's what Ur doing)..

Really? That seems rather asinine to be quite frank if you want to group it as such.

There are a whole bunch of issues that you can have debates on as opposed to just expansion to fumbleball states or not. It’s also an ideological straight jacket you have put yourself in. So for another issue you are going to argue for or against a position just because of whom is advocating it?

It's not that binary, and that you think it is, shows a lack of understanding.

For example,I think Brisbane should have another team, just not straight away.

And who really is against Rugby League becoming a national sport? I doubt you are and doubt @Wb1234 is either.

those who believe in the growth of Rugby League and those who want to see it shrivel up and die (Pippen, Wb1234, GROTD)

Yeah by these metrics, im unfortunately in the AFL states category, and in the "don't" not sure if this is all as clear cut as you want it to be

Ur the Malcolm Turnbull of this forum. There is a divide & probably broader than I expressed, but there are grey areas. Either way, colk & red are comrades..

I'm not in a " camp" pro or con expansion. I'm in a particular camp as who next, which is NZ.
I argue strongly against bid or locations that state they are a stronger candidate and that is all.
For me the strongest case for expansion is NZ 2 based on practically every metric. I am against expansion into a locations that are LESS qualified first.
Perth - absolutely but after nz gets a well overdue second team!
Adelaide- Sure, why not do a duel entry alongside Perth for 19 and 20, that will build a rivalry between the 2 as they compete with each other for signings and pitted as direct comparisons as who is the more successful. Only chace of either team having a genuine rival.
PNG- sure.. after they transformed Port Moresby into a safe destination, desirable for a holiday, better infrastructure and a decent location to base a team.. probably 50 years away if they work hard maybe 20.. in the meantime they should be buying a game or 2.
Brisbane- sure but not for 20 years because the Dolphins deserve that time to put thier own stamp on Brisbane and much prefer that it's in the growth area of Ipswich.

My framework would be:
NZ 2 2027
Adelaide and Perth 2030
Brisbane and PNG 2045
