I've been saying from day dot, you won't get a licence unless there is something in it for the existing clubs, the perf bid fkd up, coz they carried the baggage from the Western Reds going broke, and try to weasel out of actually investing in the competition, and only focusing on themselves, and what was needed for their own club.
If they got in 2027, as was originally planned, they would've got PNG and Orcas split of a licence fee too, (not that it would cover their own, but something is better than nothing, and nothing is what that dope Cummins was offering the NRL)
