Looks a bit like a fancy version of the South Africa Springboks union jersey.
According to the article this was to be the kea jersey
I would give them the license just for that to be in the nrl

Probs need a bit more substance to any NZ bid, then "we've got $360M"The funniest scenario in all of this is if we do go to 20 teams and it’s PNG, NZ2, and a 3rd Brisbane team, with Perth missing out. I mean it’s probably favorite now to happen if we go to 20 teams. Perth were heavy favorites but it seriously looks all gone for them.
On a side note: I wonder if PR will ditch his Bears profile pic of this is the case lol.

If that happens then what's the likely contingency if PNG's club collapses.... Central Coast Bears?!?The funniest scenario in all of this is if we do go to 20 teams and it’s PNG, NZ2, and a 3rd Brisbane team, with Perth missing out. Too much money that would be left on the table. WA will get a team, when though who knows. The funniest scenario in all of this is if we do go to 20 teams and it’s PNG, NZ2, and a 3rd Brisbane team, with Perth missing out. Makes it pretty clear it’s really only the 60 million they have now rest sounds vague
“It claimed the club would be funded by "a South Island-based group of private equity investors with a capital base of $NZ60 million". (Kiwi dollars)
I’ll get the popcorn to watch you work this one out.
yes the CofE and 'city centre' scheme seem speculative at best.

Its semantics imoyes the CofE and 'city centre' scheme seem speculative at best.
Still having $55mill - $20mill for start up isnt to be sneezed at. Its roughly what the Western Bears raised for start up as well (minus the license fee).
Again though as investors not owners I wonder what the return is to the investors and by when? Starting a club up with that much debt to investors rather than owners is maybe what's spooked the NRL?
Sometimes, other times not.Its semantics imo
Owner and investor are interchangeable
Said private equity so the term was ambiguousSometimes, other times not.
It may be they are basically loaning the money to the club owners (those on the board), not owning the club themselves per se. Some investments are for equity share, some are for debt repayment.
Nah more likely a Pasifika team based in Fiji.If that happens then what's the likely contingency if PNG's club collapses.... Central Coast Bears?!?
Just wait…Hey Matt, don't forget the popcorn.
Funny how, you ignored that when I pointed it out days ago.

It seems I’ve upset Canards boyfriend.I wonder if gobsmacked and Matt will act like arrogant wankers now that it's one of their fellow cultists saying it.
You`re a hoot, same bloke that was saying "we all think you`re stupid ", "everybody hates you" sort of thing to someone recently, to the point where I actually said to you don`t include me in your "we all" nonsense.Haha. I don’t roll in cliques dude
