I remember his dad

Don’t discount Boyd
Hope you’re right. TMM has his moments but can’t seem to do it consistently, Metcalf has a bit of factor but doesn’t seem to be able to control a team, CHT just doesn’t seem able to kick on and is quickly running out of chances

Either way he’s cheap

But if he does work out he will need an upgrade.

His kicking game is good. Liked his passing game too

Just makes some dumb choices and lost his confidence.

That's a very good assessment. TMM had brilliant full games controlling the team in Johnsons absence but struggles with another controlling presence massively, and Metcalf is pure fire when he has no pressure to control the team.
TMM and Metcalf will be an absolutely perfect combination if they can both stay fit and even in middling form will push the top 4. Unfortunately these pair are injury prone and if the Warriors are chopping and changing halfs again probably miss the 8..then again, not carrying Johnson they make it?
Pumped for the season!

Think this was pretty much a given since Montoya asked for a release.
He didn’t really set the world on fire playing there to accomodate Walsh
Yep, if he's on the wing it's a real ugh moment. Just put him at fullback, it's now just silly not playing the best 1 at the club. CNK can do the job at centre. However, if Tuapiki is the guy they want there then they should never have brought back RTS.

Yeah it’s an interesting puzzle as to how it all lands
CNK is a serviceable Fullback and not a game breaker but very solid defensively and has the ball playing to be able to fit into attacking structures well. Ok speed but not hugely fast.
Wing would be kind of a journeyman type and still favourable to Kosi
Centre I think is actually a decent land for him
RTS centre experiment did not work
Wing wasn’t great
Fullback is definitely his best position and has more space to attack- however is off the cuff attack rather than a structured system that Webby seems to prefer.
Taine probably has the best top end speed and attacking flair at this stage of his career but have a few question marks on his defence, don’t see him as wing and definitely not centre- it’s fullback (or halves) or nothing.
Way to fit them all in would be Taine Fullback, RTS wing, CNK centre but I suspect we will see RTS at full back with CNK at centre and Taine as first drop
