we'd be in trouble if Jsaf was in the team. Currently he is reserve grade standard and nothing more. All the more bewildering why he'd be hitting the piss. Obviously doesnt take his footy seriously.

At his best he is a very good backup to our top middle forwards and it means that others will have to carry the load, injuries may cause us to use others not quite as good and push other to perform above what was originally required. Bottom line he has cost us some stability and forced changes that were not required. What it has cost him we will find out in time.

The good news doesn't stop there for Knights fans however: journeyman recruit James Gavet finished ninth on that list, drawing three or more defenders 65% of the time and getting stopped by a lone tackle on just 6% of carries.

Results wise, he's one of the worst (if not the worst) we've ever had. However in terms of squad management and roster building, he's up there with the best. Probably second only to Wok

In saying that though, if he doesnt pan out as a great coach with the roster we have now.....would it be worth giving him the role that Mooney and Canavan had/have, and bringing in a decent coach?

I'm happy to give Brown a couple more seasons to try to win the premiership. As long as he consistently gets top 4 - 5 finishes, I have no problem giving him another 5 or 6 years to try to win it.

yeah, most definitly, but say hypothetically we finish borderline top8 (with no injuries) for the next few years, do we start looking at a new coach and move brown to more of a recruitment manager role (which he is obviously really good at)?

we will still be inconsistent next season no doubt. New players who've played little footy together and a rather young squad but I really think we are 12 months away from hitting a premiership window opening.

I heard Barnett interviewed on Talkin Sport earlier in the season and he says all the right stuff. Comes across as having a really positive attitude. But you would think he's up against it to grab a spot in the 17 if everyone is fit and ready to go.

He must make a big impression when given the chance and it is obvious he knows it is a lot tougher to get that gig than previous seasons.
