It will be interesting to see if Wayne can make something of him. He is a lazy lazy player from what Ive noticed, so Wayne is certainly trying to paint the Sistine chapel right now with both Newcastle and Mason!

You don't play 214 NRL games, 24 tests, and 14 origins and win a Clive Churchill medal if you're a lazy player. He's a dickhead, a wanker, an idiot, whatever but if he's a damn good footballer

That is true but the key here is that he is signed for this year only if i am not mistaken. He is not taking up any cap that could be used elsewhere so there isn't much risk involved. It isn't like Tinks will miss a few grand. He will only play on if he deserves it and if he can't perform we don't see or hear from him and nothing is lost.

What he can do and what he will do? Cmon we're not talking about Owen Craigie or Danny Wicks here. Mason has never been half arsed on the field, he's never ever been accused of being out of shape or unfit despite a massive human being. He's also one of the most passionate players, has never been lathargic in fact even when he's on the bench he gets into it as much as the most die hard fan
