Newtown get the win 25-24 after a late Niwhai Puru field goal.

Ison was busy at the back and scored a good try supporting a Berrell break to level the scores up late in the game. Healey also got his customary try.

Jackson Ferris good to see him back - thought he looked good in first grade just such a shame the injuries got in the way of his development

Fair effort for the Newtown faithful - drawers game with top of the table Canberra. No report for me, currently half cut at Sauce brewing - word on the street was it was a pretty brave effort.
Hope the same replicates tomorrow

He score the try to get us the draw, Ferris I thought was better in juniors then Xerri he would chase everything.
It is shame all the injuries, you never know he might come good

Average game from all our “stars” nothing terrible or outstanding.
Dykes drifted in and out of attack showed some nice touches but looked very tentative and not interested in defence as expected.
Puru best game iv seen but still not looking like a future NRL player
Healy looks good but some brain farts at times will be in front of Berrell by July, I personally would like to see him have a crack at 7 tho.
Stonestreet always the same fast, strong and tall but loves an error.
Ison looks the goods and may force Dykes into the half’s fulltime.
Vea'ila is the most impressive of the lot, if Iro hasn’t earned his spot by July and wanting out can see Vea'ila take his spot.
Fernley has his best game in a long time
Hosking solid workhorse performance

I seen Ison 11 tackle breaks each week he is looking good, certainly could be bolter this year for 1sts, we know Kennedy can find a injury

No where near firsts at our club. If all fit would have Atkinson, Dykes, Iro and even Hiroti (after round 10) ahead of him.

Loved Vea’lia’s try last match.

Great footwork and plenty of pace.

There’s some promising backs emerging right now.

TBA and TBC already have sponsors they must be something special indeed.

I am guessing Hiroti and Dykes will switch

It doesn’t seem to be on NSWRLTV. Hiroti is playing 6 - also curious how he goes.
