Our past and current interim coach seem to have a lot in common with each other insofar as they must need to go to SpecSavers because I'm sure that they cannot see the uselessness of Burns and Kerr.

We have 11 more games to play this year starting with Souths this weekend. Even though they have Mitchell, Arrow and Murray out, they are still a quality team and so a loss is what I am predicting. Of the remaining 10 games, the only wins I can see that might be possible are against the Warriors (we play them twice, but only beat them once), Wests Tigers (return match at home) and maybe the Sea Eagles at home. That's three wins plus 2 byes left equals 10 competition points which will give us a total of 18 points. Will these points be enough to avoid the Spoon?
Dragon Dave you’re being very generous with your belief in this team actually winning a game, this team. I’m happy to eat my words, I can’t see it, our cattle are poor, I thought that they were in with a chance beating Penrith, but as always just get let down bad D and no f??king idea how to score a try and let alone convert it. The best they have played so far was against the Dolphins at WIN. Haven’t seen that team since, maybe the opposing team was poor.

We make the same Muppet mistakes week in week out.
Even when we bt the Chooks we almost gave it away.

Yeah you could say we have poor cattle but other teams can make the same claim, Dolphins, Tigers etc but it's more a poor attitude , poor discipline, poor structures etc from years of crap management and coaches not getting the right support or not being given the authority to make big changes. It's built into us now and only a major shake up is going to help. The Dolphins have a very average roster but they're in the 8. Great coach, great support staff and management, great attitude.
Ryles was smart not to come to us and prospective player recruits will also go "naaahhh, I'll give it a miss" if we approach them with an offer. Why come here and have your career ruined.
I also don't buy into this "our players wouldn't make first grade at other teams" bs, Hunt, Sullivan, JDB, Bird, Su'a, Suli, Lomax, Lawrie, Rava, Couchman and also Liddle the way he's been playing would all get a start somewhere and I'm sure there are coaches who would love to get their hands on Sloan and Amone and possibly BBurns and get some proper coaching into them - not to mention our crop of juniors.
We can win games, we just don't know how to do it, success is foreign to us. 10-12 years of abject failure from our BOD and Management of going down hill has lead us to this our lowest point ever for our once mighty brand. 3 wins, 10 losses and no idea who our next coach will be (with the club actually considering DYoung or Hornby and the only real coach, a desperate untouchable like Flanagan actually willing to come near us) or knowing which players are set to walk as soon as they can.
It just takes the right people to come in and turn things around but who ?
Kevvie and Co have done a magnificent job with Brisbane, in just 2 years from finishing 14th in 2021 (and a Spoon in 2020) to 2nd on the ladder (1st if you factor in byes). It can be done and it can happen fast but we need it to start happening Today.

Might see something different with Carr picking Big Ben at lock and finally seeing Muzgrove.

Thought we stopped the meters by the Pennies up the middle however, Pennies did what was needed to win other than the crap call.

Unless we can pick up a winger using Cody's money, I'd stick with Matt F, needs time like the others.

We were in it on Sunday so, can't see why we can't do the same on Saturday.

As Gus Gould keeps saying, Dragons are not a bottom of the ladder roster.
Even with an interim coach, look at how much better we are playing. When we beat Souths on Saturday Carr will have beaten Roosters and Souths and pushed Panthers to the 80th minute.
Get Flanno in, he’ll attract some players. Besides a few reserve graders like Fegai, BMM etc we have a decent squad.
Maybe Flanno could even get the best out of Bird brain?

Shane could be that coach he did it with the sharks I hope he is a man manager that’s needed for us. You need a balance side we don’t have that at the moment.
