I didn't hear either way about 6pm Friday, you'd think Fox would be announcing that anyway. Permanent Thursday night and no Monday, with the last 5 Saturday night games. Sounds good, no real detail on money though.

I would have preferred 4 FTA games too.

But,

There's few pro sports in the world that have our level of FTA exposure.

40% of the regular season live on FTA. (Also speculation the last 5 weeks of sat night will be FTA.

All the rep games

All the finals.

10 years ago we had no live FTA games. Now we have 3.

In fact if you add all the regular season games & finals & rep games it's close to 45% FTA.(presuming the last 5 sat nights are FTA)

Weird way of looking at it but SOO technically gives us 3 more weeks of 4 CH9 FTA games.

If we get $2 billion+ then I think losing the Sat FTA games up to Rd 22 is an acceptable compromise.

Will be a nice build up going into the finals. Will feel like it is becoming the special time of year.

I still firmly believe their time is coming though. Next deal& streaming is genuinely viable for all.
