If that is remotley true, there will be smaller crowds than the monday night games and a heap less ratings. I can't see how this is going to happen, the ARLC have rocks in their heads if they let it happen.

Even Massoud called it a "proposed" deal. That doesn't really mean anything, I'm sure there are lots of proposed deal. It just looks like more of the same and what makes it even more ridiculous is Seven announcing it rather than Nine. I'll believe it when I see it. I would love 2 sunday game but only if they're on Nine and there are 4 FTA games a week.

6pm is a joke ... i struggle to get home for the main game.. .

it will be a dead zone, and be the worst teams and worst attended of the round,

and wellington will get teams from everywhere, to play there... which is very meh...

Also it will be on at 5pm in qld during first few weeks, which is a massive fail, oh and like lunchtime in perth...

Fox must be trying to sure up pubs & clubs with that 6pm game.

Nothing else makes sense.

Can see it being a huge failure. Ridiculous to lose MNF because the clubs had enough of it only to introduce Friday 6pm.

All we can hope is this is bullshit or they're floating it to see the reaction.

The only things about this article that's true is that a deal could be done soon and that Fox may get their Super Saturday back. Even if they do get it back, there will be a 4th FTA game on at another time.

These talks are held confidentially. No one other than those in the room know shit. Just looking back at the last deal and even the AFL deal, nothing gets leaked.

I harp on about this, but on the day that the current deal was announced, Fox Sports were saying it was worth $850million and included NZ aswell as digital rights. They don't know anything.

This is purely just News trying to sell papers. They haven't had many articles in the last week about the rights or smashed Dave Smith. They've been waiting for this and got their two best trolls to write something up to piss off people.

The NRL are already being labelled as being out of touch with the fans. They've just promised that we will have more games on FTA a week than ever. They will lose so much face if they go back from that now. Will not happen.

A Sunday double header on 9 would be a nice trade off for giving fox sports super Saturday back.

Personally I wouldn't want to see them give any other ground to fox. Friday 6pm just seems insane.
