Wonder if the 9th expansion game would be a peace offering for news ltd to show on ch10? Getting 5 games on fta would be massive for fans and clubs.

The News rags must be getting hammered with negative comments as the comments sections seem to be closed on most of their articles concerning TV rights.

If thats the case, people should just post comments on any rendom article so they get the picture.

Agreed. Time for fans who remember SuperLeague to bombard mainstream and social media so Joe Citizen doesn't read too much into News LTD rubbish.

This what the doc said...News ltd was waiting for accc approval for a ten/fox bid, which would have hidden the free to air deal (lets say one billion the lot) or put another way, it wouldn't have been the biggest/most/money fta which NINE just paid.

buy the way voice your disapproval at the accc in regards to the ten/foxtel merger..

If it get caught behind the pay wall, clear your cookies completely then reload. This works for news ltd papers.

What do i make of this, a angle to get rid the anti shipning list, but why get rid of it, Murdock would buy completely all the rights and then no free to air at all. This is the situation in UK premier league.
So no chocolates for you, MR m.

Anyone care to research how 3/4 networks can deliver NRL app(hopefully unmetred)
looks like telstra do it now. Check out goole chromecast, goole nexus, rocku 3
If we can get the nrl on the mobile 3/4 g network with say Vodafone providing a stream (customers then plug in mirroring/ maybe Nexus, then NRL TV HERE WE COME, over the internet plus the mobile platform. maxium customers all for a fee of course

Pretty sure they are. There's very few comments on any of the articles, and none of mine have been published.

ESPN would be pretty cool to partner with. Would open up some opportunities for the NRL to work with Disney for promotions.

None of mine have been published either. I've seen plenty of "down with Smith" comments get through though.

My facebook posts are there but haven't checked if they're deleting them yet.

I looked at some of the comments on the articles and it looked like News journos were in there agreeing with themselves, some of them seemed pretty dubious.

I have seen an article in todays SMH where despite the claims of Murdoch's lackies the NRL clubs saying their is zero chance of a breakaway comp.
The clubs did meet yesterday, but only to talk about the new funding model

You are correct. Also a few club administrators, namely Nick Pappas at Souths and Phil Gould at Penrith, took to twitter yesterday to shoot down the break away comp stories.

You can also add in that Telstra have come out and public repudiated stories that they are looking to drop their naming rights to the NRL Premiership. In fact they confirmed they are in discussions with the NRL to extend them.

This really equates to Murdoch's lackies getting more desperate by the day.

We need to see Politis or Dib come out and rubbish the News Ltd stories for it to really put a stop to their bullshit.
